  “Where are the other three?” her voice cracked as she checked on them one by one; making sure that no one of her men had been tortured like what she had imagined.

  Their excitement was replaced by sad faces, alerting and giving her scenarios in her head of worse cases that might have happened.

  “Hey, guys, I am asking you. Where are they?”

  One stood up and closed the door. She knew it right then, something wrong had really taken place.

  “What happened to them?”

  “Here, Captain.”

  She almost wanted not to touch the folder when it was presented to her. Her fingers are shaking as she flipped it, showing photos of covered bodies taken from a heinous crime.

  “W-What—” Eunice tightly closed her eyes and gripped on the edge of the table. “Go ahead, tell me what you know,” she commanded instead.

  The one who brought her in picked up the folder and sat a seat away from her.
