CHAPTER 201

  She was interrupted from sleeping for unknown reasons. Her reflexes just pulled her up and made her sit. Eve roamed her eyes around only to find out that she is alone in a room that everything is white.

  She stood up and gulped before opening the door. At the hallway, the team guarding her are sitting quietly: some are sleeping, some are awake.

  “Ma’am!” One stood up as she walked out of the door.

  “I am awake now, you can use the room.”

  “We are fine—”

  “I insist.”

  “But—”

  “Thank goodness, you’re finally up! I was actually about to wake you!” A doctor came, panting.

  Eve glimpsed at her guards, one after another; throwing them a wondering look. But they just shrugged their shoulders, hinting to her that no one of them was really informed. She peeked at the time—it shows thirty-eight minutes after six in the morning. Hence, she has been asleep for almost an hour.
