　　Beta Adam returned to Serena's questioning eyes. "What does she want?" She asked when Beta Adam refused to say anything.


　　"She wants the face of the company changed. They must have told her the news, and knowing it's you, so it doesn't sit well with her." Beta Adam sighed.


　　"I can't believe she tried seducing me. She's lucky that I'm in a good mood." Beta Adam mumbled.


　　Serena took her thumb to her forehead and pressed it there.


　　“I don't know why she hates me this much. It can't be because of our mother's death? It can't be just that, right?" Serena thought to herself.


　　"I don't think so." Beta Adam replied to her.


　　"Yeah, it can't be; there must be an added reason to her hate for me." Serena thought out again.


　　"But wait, how do you even know what I'm talking about?" Serena probed.


　　Beta Adam looked at her puzzled at first before realizing he should have kept quiet.
