　　This is how it works, once an Alpha is killed his strength is transferred to the wolf that killed him, thereby making that wolf the next Alpha of that pack, but this only works when the wolf that kills the Alpha is not an Alpha himself.

　　The wolf must be either a Beta or Omega wolf, if an Alpha wolf should kill another Alpha wolf the strength of that dead Alpha won't be transferred to the other Alpha or anyone else because the wolf already has an alpha power.

　　However Lucian loved the feeling of having such strength, he loved it so much that he made an arrangement with night sisters, three witches from the pit of hell that gave him a ring that enables him to do the seemless impossible thing.
