Chapter 30: Have Her Listen While She’s on Her Knees

Hanson's face grew solemn upon hearing that. He got up and stuck one hand into his pocket. Then, he walked over to the window and asked in a low voice, "Who did it?"

"It was Ryan who had instructed some men to do it."

Hanson's eyes blazed with menace. "Bring that b*stard to me right away."

"Understood."

After the call had ended, Hanson stormed out of the room at once.

In the evening, Wendy was sitting quietly by the bay window while she watched the sunset.

The door of her room was suddenly flung open.

Judging by the noise, Wendy knew exactly who was at the door even without looking.

Hanson was noticeably fuming as he strode quickly towards her. Then, he pulled her away from the bay window, tugging on her arm.

Wendy stood upright and looked up at him.

It was apparent to her how furious Hanson was right then with just one look at his eyes.

Although she had not a clue as to what had happened this time.
