Chapter 50: I Don’t Trust Him

She looked up at Howard with an intense gaze and said firmly, "I don't trust him."

Howard felt rather helpless upon hearing her words. As he was about to respond, Hanson's cold voice rang out from behind Wendy. "If that's the case, call the police then."

Wendy turned to look at Hanson. There was a barely veiled hostility in her eyes.

Hanson walked up to her with a mocking smile on his lips. "I don't care whether you believe me or not, but I won't just stand idly by and have you accuse me of murder."

He then took out his phone and call the police.

"Does he always have to go that far?" Howard sighed inwardly.

In the ward, Charley, who was sitting next to the bed, spotted Hanson through the glass window.

He was fuming mad as he stood up abruptly and rushed out of the ward.

"Hanson Yale!" Charley pulled Wendy towards him and shielded her from Hanson. Then, he glared at Hanson fiercely. "Stay away from my sister."
