The leaves scrunch under her bare feet as she walks forward. She had no idea about where she was. She could tell that it was night time, by how the owl hooted in the distance and the cool air whipped around and nipped occasionally at her skin causing shivers to run down her form.
The scent of death lingered around in the air along with the hint of something that had been recently burned. She could see the aftermaths of it too. The ground beneath her was burned, the grass was dark as coal and charred.
She felt weird, something wasn’t right. It took her a few minutes to realise what, which caused her eyes to widen like saucers. She could see. She could see everything clearly. She couldn’t understand why she didn’t pick upon it earlier.
She looked around, it felt weird, taking in the colors but it was a totally gloomy atmosphere around her.
