Busted

Niko's Pov 

Keira managed to drink some water and she seemed to get some colour back in her face, dad left the room to go and update the pack on what he knew so far 

"I'll take you into the bathroom, Keira and we can get you showered and cleaned up, those wounds will need stitching" she says nodding to Keira's arms "I'll go and grab the kit" Amanda adds before vacating the room, 

"Thank you for this, Alpha Niko" Keira says, the sound of my name rolling of her tongue causes my body to tremble, shit. 

"You are very welcome, Keira. I told dad about your family I hope you don't mind but you should know that my pack will want details on the pack who did this" she only nods in response "Once Amanda has helped you get sorted, there will be some food in the kitchen for you, you need to eat" I add dominantly. 

I left the room when Amanda entered to give them some privacy, as I walk into the meeting room all eyes turn in my direction and I take a seat "Okay guys, so I know you have been updated on the situation in regards to Alpha Issaac, Luna Kath and Beta James, Keira is here for her own safety. They were ambushed while they slept and kept somewhere, we don't yet know who is responsible but be assured we will do everything we can. Until then only dad, Amanda and I are to ask her questions in regards to what happened, also her grandmother Anne will be joining us soon we will be making contact with her later this evening or tomorrow. Any questions?" 

"So, what you are just letting a stranger join us?" Zeke growls loudly and my head whips to where the voice came from and I see dad about to deal with it, but it's my job, I push the chair back and head over to where Josh sits, placing my hands on the arms of his chair I stare straight into his eyes 

"One, she is not a stranger, two, dad took you in when you were nobody and had nowhere to go and three if you ever talk about her like that again I will personally rip your throat out and feed you to the rogues, are we clear?" he doesn't reply instantly and that angers both Zeke and I, I land a bone-crushing punch to his face "Anyone else got anything to say?" 

"No, Alpha" 

"Absolutely not, Alpha" 

"Uh- I do, is Keira, okay?" Jade asks and I give her a small smile and a nod which she returns 

"Okay, that concludes this meeting. I want you to double up on perimeter guard this evening, Beta Jay will arrange it and will he will arrange the training rotas."  

I head into the kichen to see mom preparing an assortment of different foods  

"What you up to, Mom?" She turns and smiles broadly at me  

"I'm preparing some food for my future daughter-in-law, Niko, fresh coffee just brewed" her response immediately brings a smile to my face, it is obvious dad told her about Keira being my mate, just as I sit down at the kitchen bar, mom and I both look in the same direction when we hear laughing. I can hear my own heartbeat speeding up as I take in the view of Keira who is all cleaned up, her face has some more colour in it now and bright blonde hair looks healthier. She looks absolutely stunning in a white cropped vest top and a pair of white joggers that sit perfectly on her wide hips. 

"Hello Keira, I don't know if you will remember me but I am Haley, Erics wife and Niko's mom, come sit down here darling" my mom is all over which makes me laugh and my sister Amanda rolls her eyes, I watch every step Keira takes as she walks over and sits on the stool next to me and Amanda sits next to her 

"Hi, Hayley, not really but my parents and grandmother talked a lot about your family and I appreciate everything you have done for me"  

"Well help yourself to any of this, I know it's late and you probably need to rest but you also need to eat, now I am going to retire to my room, goodnight, guys, I'll catch up with you in the morning, Keira. Amanda come with me" my winks and I roll my eyes, thanks mom real subtle 

"I'm not tired yet, mom" Amanda wines, my mom walks up to her grabbing her ear and dragging her out of the room which makes both Keira and I laugh. 

"Would you like anything to drink, Keira? There is fresh juice in the fridge, coffee, tea or hot cocoa"  

"I'll make the coffee if you grab the drinks" she smiles, that in itself is enough to get my wolf rolling over like a fucking lap dog. 

"Perfect" just like you. I can't help but watch her as she makes her way over to the coffee maker, her ass is perfect and I can only imagine what it would be like up in the air while she was bent over- 

"If you were not staring at my ass so much the juice would be out by now" ah fuck, busted! 

"Hey, I can't help it, that thing needs to come with warning label something like 'Warning, serious distraction' or 'warning may cause throbbing' seriously not my fault" I hold my hands up in the air in mock surrender as she rolls her eyes but giggles. 

As we both sit back down and tuck into the food, I realise I don't actually no that much about her, apart from the story's dad told us. 

"Do you want to call your grandmother tonight or in the morning?" I ask 

"I'll try and ring her tonight if that is, okay?" 

"Of course, tell her to pack what she needs and we will go and collect her tomorrow as it is not safe for her to stay by herself." I hand her my phone, and make a mental note to sort her out with a new phone, I have a few in the closet so I will give her one of those, she must have put the phone on speaker because even I can hear it ring and when I look at her, she smiles 

"What? I need to eat" she laughs 

"Hello?"  

"Hi Nan, it's Keira, how are-" 

"Oh, my goodness, Keira! Where are you? What happened? Are you Okay?" 

"Woah, alright. Long story short, we were all taken during the night a few weeks ago and were brought to a warehouse and chained up, they tortured us all but- I am so sorry- um-" 

"They were killed?" her grandmother asks and I suddenly feel like I am intruding so I take my stand to leave but to my complete surprise Keira grabs my hand and shakes her head making me sit back down 

"Yes, Nan. I am so sorry." 

"It's okay princess, but you- are you okay? Where are you now?" 

"I am fine now, Nan. You are not going to believe who I ran into when I had escaped-" she grins at me "I am at the blue moon pack house" I hear an audible gasp 

"Alpha Eric?"  

"Actually, it is his son Alpha Niko" she gives me a cheeky smile; I swear every time she says my name the bulge in my jeans gets harder 

"My goodness, I hope the family are well" 

"Good evening, Mrs Willis, this is Alpha Niko, Eric's son. I hope you are well; I just want to reassure you that Keira is safe and given that we think this was a personal attack, my family and I would feel much more at ease if you would also come and join us here as of tomorrow"
