Yeah, Yeah, Laugh It Up

Jenna split the dough in half and rolled the two pieces out onto parchment paper that she lifted and stacked onto a baking sheet before sticking it in the fridge. "Unfortunately, this has to chill for another two hours before we cut it out so I guess we can watch another movie but there's something we need to do first."

Bryce raised an eyebrow. "What?"

Her eyes gleamed maniacally as she held up the rolling pin. "We must destroy the Jolly Ranchers."

This was always her favorite part of making these cookies. Each color was put in a separate plastic baggie and then she got to whack them to bits. It was a messy process since the jagged edges always ripped holes in the bag but that was a price she was willing to pay.

He looked slightly concerned. "…destroy?"

"Watch and learn! But first we need to separate the colors and unwrap them so help me out, will you?" Jenna asked sweetly.
