With Love As My Witness

The first two months of living as Jennifer Bryce passed in a haze of misery. Jenna was doing her best to help Jonas (who still couldn't use his left arm for the most part) deal with the classes she had hastily been enrolled in and get used to her new cover story.

Responding to Jennifer was difficult because all her life she had been correcting people saying "It's Jenna not Jennifer" and she couldn't do that now. Sometimes people shortened her fake name to Jen even though in the past only her family called her that so it felt weird. She wasn't sure whether or not that was worse.

Transferring her credits involved retaking some things again as well, which was even more frustrating than it had been the first time. To graduate on time she would have to take extra classes each semester.

That might be a blessing in disguise though. Keeping herself busy might help her forget Bryce more easily.
