A present Bryce saved for when no one else would see it? Jenna's mind immediately jumped to something not PG but when she unwrapped it she was surprised to find a gray Miami Heat hoodie.

He spoke up a bit sheepishly. "This might be kind of dumb but I remembered how much you loved my Lakers hoodie specifically because you stole it from me so I got this for me to wear for a while so you could steal it properly. You should have one for your team."

Why had he saved something so sentimental for when they were alone? Because it had something to do with the past and he didn't want her to get upset in front of everybody or because he thought her family would tease her for being so sappy?

Jenna wasn't upset though. The stolen hoodie had been an inside joke between the two of them and it was cute that he wanted to do something along those lines that matched her preferences now.
