Chapter 11

"Good morning."

She smiles brightly at him, getting into the car. She receives a grunt in return.

The engine roars to life as he drives out of his driveway.

She had thought he would stop talking to her talk less of even still driving her to and back from school. She could say they were friends just not in front of him, he's too stubborn to admit it.

"Thanks. I'll see you later?" He pauses then nods. She waves at him going inside the school.

They were all seated in the cafeteria, Africa and Andrew had joined them. She was listening to the conversation they were having when she looks over to a table where Liam sits alone.

Gathering much courage she slips from her table with her tray making her way to Liam's table.

She was sure every eye in the cafeteria was on her including her friends but for once she didn't care.

"What are you doing?" He says once he notices her sitting at his table. "Eating."

"Why don't you go eat on your table?"
