“Mom was kidnapped” Kiel said lowering his head, “what?!” Shock filled Lina whose eyes almost pooped out
“When? How? Why?, this is too much” Lina yelled as she sat on the bed looking at her brother for answers
“It happened a week you left, she said she wanted to take a tour round the village and she wanted to do it alone. We knew she was pissed off because you left and we couldn’t do anything about it, mom didn’t return home since that day” Kiel explained
“We organized a search for her only to discover that the horse she used to leave the palace was hurt and her garment was stripped” he continued
“Drones!” Lina muttered under her breath but Kiel heard it “excuse me? What did you say?”
“Drones” “what are drones?” “These are mystic creatures whose mission are to destroy the world, prince Lyle took me away for a purpose and that is to save the earth. The prophecy confirmed that at least a royal witch, demon and fairy is needed for this battle”
“Battle?” Kiel asked “why didn’t he tell us about it, at least we could come together and solve this problem” “I don’t know why he wants to do in low key but…”
Kiel interrupted saying “and how does this affect mom?” “In a magical orb, we royal witches have the ability to see all part of the world but there is an exception and that is mom. The queen has the utmost power and could lock someone from viewing a particular place.”
“How does this help?” Kiel asked
“I tried locating the drones but I couldn’t because I couldn’t view a particular city in the north, that means…”
“Mom is used against her will to block them from other witches who would try to locate them using the orb. You are right Lina, and I must compliment, you have learnt so much in just few weeks” Kiel stated
“I’m happy you understand this” Lina smiled weakly “what can I do to help?” Kiel asked “nothing! Just make sure everyone is safe, especially dad” Lina said before giving her brother her tight hug.
After the long warm hug, Lina told him she had to go and that was how her conversation with her brother ended. He escorted her till the boarders.
“Till whenever I would come back” Lina said and Kiel just nodded his head in agreement before speeding off with his horse”
Lina took a deep breath in as she watched her brother ride off, many things had happened and she needs to think things through.
Arriving the castle, she went straight to her room and sat on the bed, luckily for her, no one noticed her presence. She removed her clothes and took a long cold bath. After her bath she just sat on the bed, recollecting everything
“You didn’t notify me that you are back” Lyle said with his deep voice engulfing the room, Lina immediately sprang up to her feet
“I didn’t want to disturb your peace” Lina lied, actually she didn’t want anyone to disturb her peace
“What are your findings?” He asked leaning on the door frame “won’t you sit?” Lina asked “no”
Lina sat on the bed facing him before saying “my mom was kidnapped” “really? How did you know?” “Well my brother told me” “what makes you think she was kidnapped? That she didn’t fake it at all?” Lyle asked
“My mom would never fake anything, I trust her and I know deep down she was kidnapped” Lina argued
Lyle smirked as he approached her closely, he brushed some strands of her silver heart which was covering her face backwards
“Lina, there is a lot you need to learn about life, that betrayals do occur, no matter who the person is, instead of having hope your mom isn’t involved it’s better to say she is involved so when she is it won’t break you” Lyle explained
“But… I can not believe my mom is involved in this whole mess, leave her out of this” Lina stated with tears flowing from her eyes
Lyle looked at her before leaving her room, and then Lina broke down in tears, she cried because she didn’t know what to believe, her mom was somewhere unknown, and she didn’t know what to do
She just stared at the wall in her room, her mind flashing back to the few weeks of her life, ‘what a mess?’ Lina thought and more tears flowed down her eyes
