Huge mistake
“Where had you been Kai?” Diana asked the instant Kai entered through the main entrance, Kai did not reply her question instead he walked past her.
Diana knew better than not to disturb him, his silence was always a warning and she would be aware of it, she did not want to push him to the wall so she kept her distance and continued sketching out her plan.
Kai was at least grateful that she did not bother him about his whereabouts, it was not that he could not cook up a lie but he was just tired and he did not have the energy to explain things to her, truth be told Diana liked to stress things and that was not what he was in for.
Kai entered a room, it was small but manageable, on the bed was the witch queen, sited and looking out through the smalll window. Kai took in her features, her long brown hair was neatly packed in a messy bun and her medieval white dress complimented her hair perfectly, it was a nice blend.
“Queen Esther” Kai spoke jolting Esther back to the present.
“What do you want now?” Esther grumbled, she hated the fact that she was been tied down and could not do anything against these people, Diana always made sure to threaten her and here was her associate, he was definitely up to no good
“Let us say I need a little favor from you” Kai replied “favor? What exactly?” Esther asked, curiosity taking the best of her
“Your daughter and some other people are here to fight these battle” Kai replied “my daughter? Which of them?” “I am not here for answering any of your questions, I am here to tell you that your daughter is blocking a particular place in Nevera, I need you not to tell Diana, am I understood?” Kai asked
“I thought you are helping Diana? How am I supposed to believe you?” Esther asked, her eyes questioning. Kai let out a deep breath before saying
“Are you not supposed to be happy that I want to help your daughter and not Diana, do not ask silly questions queen, be rest assured that I know what I am doing and I need you help, so are you in or out?” Kai asked and she nodded in approval, Kai smiled and then left her room
One down, many to go.
Lina’s heart was racing while she was playing the game with Lyle, especially when she knew that his gaze was on her, she could not help but feel goosebumps all over her body
“Shall we continue our game?” Talia’s tiny voice echoed, “yes” Lina’s voice stuttered returning her attention to the game but her mind was still in chaos.
The cool evening breeze blew Gina’s hair backwards, she had left the underground building to the open space to catch some air, she looked around the empty place but there was no clue of a living thing
She strode a little further and discovered that their vehicles had already left, she took a deep breath in and was about to return to the tunnel when something covered her nose
Everything happened too fast for Gina, first someone covered her nose then next thing they tied her mouth, hands and legs then she was put in a sack, she kept on screaming endlessly but all her efforts were in vain.
Her body landed on what seemed to be a van and they drove off. Gina still did not stop trying to free herself, she was not ready to die, not now!
Gina finally realized that nothing she did could help her so she gave up, she rested her head and waited for what’s next
The van came to a halt and just like that she was brought down and was taken inside. They removed her from the sack and untied only her mouth
“You fucking assholes!” Gina roared “I see that you still have lot of energy to shout at us” the chubby man commented
“Make sure she goes nowhere, I would be back soon” the man said and left. In a jiffy he was back but this time around with Diana
“Oh Samson! You are one in a million, finally I got my hands on what I need” Diana said with an evil smirk on her face and she grabbed a handful of Gina’s hair and dragged it. Gina groaned in pain
“It hurts right? That is what I am going to do to Peres and the entire world” Diana continued, she let out an evil laugh and turned to view Samson
“You have outperformed yourself, I knew you were capable” Diana cupped his face in her palms and he smiled inwardly, knowing that Diana was happy.
“Take her in, do not send a message to Peres yet, I want him to lose his cool for a little moment and when the time is right, I would strike” Diana clicked her tongue.
Just as they were about to take Gina away, Kai came outside and was dumbstruck, when did they capture Gina? How did they capture her? He looked at Diana questioning her with his eyes.
“I know you are surprised Kai, but not to worry, everything is going as planned” Diana told him
“But we did not plan this, you went ahead to do something we did not plan?” Kai asked “Kai, you should be happy, we have her with us now” Diana said
“Something tells me it is a terrible idea” Kai continued “common on Kai, let things flow” Diana stated before leaving him and went inside
‘Diana just made one huge mistake’ Kai muttered under his breath, he watched Gina being gathered by the drones and they took her away, his eyes then met with Samson who had a wicked grin on his face
“Don’t you think it is a nice plan?” Samson asked sheepishly but got no response from the statue name tagged Kai
