Falling in love with a demon

Lyle sat on the couch, thinking of how to answer Lina’s question, “through a portal, that is the fastest way of getting to the south” Lyle replied 


“When do we leave?” Lina managed to ask again “anytime you are ready, it is your mom, so whenever it pleases you” Lyle replied before going inside 


“I would get my things ready to leave and take my mom back home” her voice cracked at the end of the statement 


“I would come along” Karen added “me too” Adam said “I would go as well” Pearl stated “everyone would tag along then” Lucian stated as he looked at the warriors who nodded their head in approval 


Lina gathered some few things and then her mother’s body was put into a dead body bag, she glanced at her mother as Lucian took her away and tears slipped down her face, she wiped it off but it seemed like more were coming 


When she got to the sitting room, she was shocked to see everyone ready and waiting for her, her heart was touched by their concern and love, even Lyle was ready.
