Mr. Jackson was surprised to see George and from the way he looked at him one could see he knew him well.

"Nice to meet you sir."

"Well it's nice to meet you too. I hope you have been taking care of my daughter. She is a bit stubborn but nice girl hope you can handle her well."

" You don't have to worry sir. I love your daughter and nothing is more important than her safety and wellbeing"

" I love that. My girl has found a nice guy indeed. Am not worried about her anymore with you by her side"

"Come on dad why do you say that. Am good and also you are not going anywhere. I will be staying with you from now on."

"I know dear but he is a good company and hope he is a keeper as you are" Steph felt embarrassed to be teased in front of her boyfriend but she was happy"

"Dad I have called the guy you said and heel be here later tonight also George said he will help whenever you need his help.

"It's okay. I know he will help. Why don't you bring me chicken soup from the hotel downstairs while I talk with this young man for a bit?"

Steph was surprised but still she went out giving George a concerned look. Making sure she left the room completely Mr. Jackson sat up and gave George a serious look.

"What do you want with her? Does she know who you really are and what you do apart from your company?

If one hears all this questions for the first time you could be surprised by the tone and familiarity between the two men.

"You don't have to worry Mr. Jackson. I do really love her and I am willing to protect her with my life.

It's not the right time for her to know what am capable of but I want to train her to be strong if am not there with her. I have assigned secret bodyguards to her."

" I know you have your men monitoring her but do you think she is safe with all your enemies around the corners?"

" I know and am worried but if I don't stay with her they will still go after her since they have seen her with me. I also don't want to stay far from her.? You know have had feelings for her for a long time even with that Sam guy always there with her. She may not remember me but I know she do love me now."

"I know. If we had not moved here back then you two could have been married by now. The accident back then had caused lots of damage to her brain and also she only forgot you and I wonder why."

"I would also like to know"

"I want us to marry as soon as possible with her by my side am sure she will be safe. No one dares to come near me. I have grasp my powers now and I have everything under control."

"I know. My wife is working with the Smith family. I don't know for how long but she seems to know our relationship but she doesn't know who you are yet. She put something on my drink. I didn't know at first but I saw her doing something on my drink several time on the CCTV. She doesn't know I have installed some at home.

I am concerned about my children. Steph maybe with you but Mercy is at risk. Please make sure you take care of them if something happens to me. I have called a lawyer here. I want to change my will and leave everything to Steph and Mercy before tomorrow morning. I am afraid the more I wait, it might be too late."

"I understand Mr. Jackson. I will take care of your Family for you. You have taken care of me when I had no one. You are a father to me and also my future father in-law" said George smiling. It's rare to see him smile

"Come on boy. It's good to see you smiling again. Let the past go and be happy"

"It's hard to let everything go. Even if I do those vultures keep coming to me. But soon I will take care of everything.

They changed the topic as soon as they heard steps outside. Steph entered the room with the soup.

"Hope you guys had a nice chat. Dad take the soup while it's still hot"

" I will dear. Now you guys go and rest I will see you tomorrow."

" No dad. I will be staying with you tonight. I have told your wife to go home and come back tomorrow morning so I could spend the night here with you. Beside I want George to know more about you. I know you don't sleep well at night and having us here would be good for you."

"Alright then. I know it would difficult to convince you when you have made up your mind."

Later that night the lawyer come over and Mr. Jackson made the correction on the will he had made some time back. He left everything to his daughters.

With everything set and ready he went to sleep and the lawyer left.

In the middle of the night Mr. Jackson heard slight sound of his room door being opened from outside carefully. Though his daughter was in the other room in the VIP ward he was sure it was not her. He move slightly from the bed and hid behind the door and waited holding a chair in his hand. If Steph could see his dad at the moment she would be surprised. He was giving off a different aura. A dark one to be precise. His eyes were sharp and could pierce through to your soul.

When the intruder walked in wearing face mask he walked slowly towards the bed with a knife in his hand. Mr. Jackson moved behind him slowly and hit him hard. At the same time George appeared out of nowhere and hit the masked man hard.
