1 - Avoided crisis

After Adel prepared everything for his slumber, he went right into the tomb to start his sleep.

But right as he was going to sleep, he was bewildered by another message that appeared inside his head that he wasn't able to see earlier.

'What do you think happened to me?

If I willingly authorized you to read the memories of the shard of the soul, that was the answer to the question of the book?

Oh, you forgot about the most crucial part!

Anyway, time to get this done with..."Before Adel could say anything, his vision blackened as he felt his body shudder...

-

Weak, he never felt so weak in his life!

He could feel blood running along his body, but his head is too heavy to take a look, his arm felt too heavy to lift, everything was just too heavy!

He couldn't move his body, he couldn't even move his head.

All he could do was look, look up at the sky and wait for the 'blinking' process to happen, and go to 'limbo'...

There's no way out. Today, he was going to die.

It was getting harder to breathe...

His mind shook, as he felt just felt too weak, too tired, as he remembered who he was...

-

For all humans in Earth and all of its linked dimensions, it didn't take long to dislike Adel, but the reality that he's greedy and sadistic is just the tip of the iceberg.

He was just too infamous in every single dimension linked to Earth -- even the peak-tier dimensions.

Even the best expectations have been soured because of this and his criminal nature, but there's not much you can really do about it.

He was just far too popular on every dimension among cultivators, as they all knew what his 'criminal nature' was

It was killing young masters all over the ruling clans of all dimensions -- even peak-tier ones.

But he too had a bottom line. He never r*ped, killed children and done such acts, his actions only included killing young masters, and torturing them.

Fair is fair though, Adel does have some rays of light. He never went against someone who didn't offend him -- as all young masters went after his women or treasures.

He's protective and selfless at the very least, all considered it could be much worse.

Unfortunately his sadistic ways tends to ruin whatever good comes from those traits, as even if he left some young master alive; he'd be at least crippled or castrated...

He would be avoided among all males since they'd be scared since he could make their 'little brothers' not work anymore...

-

Adel sighed, as he started remembering his past...

His life before he came to the secret realm was normal, perhaps too normal for a mortal on Earth.

His background is practically nonexistent, as he was an orphan.

He trained in martial arts to the leak until the age of twenty, but didn't start cultivating, instead mastered all martial arts there were available for mortals on Earth -- like Taekwondo, Karate, Kung Fu, etc, which made him surpass the age that was ideal to start cultivation in, but have a body that was honed in every possible martial arts.

He was in a country named Cedoria that was in a certain part of Earth, that had an immense population of 54 billion inhibitors.

But due to the scarcity of cultivators, they didn't know of their existence due to them either choosing to excluding themselves to progress to higher realms; or hiding their existence because of a certain law.

That law made cultivators not able to interact with mortals. As they knew of the mortals' importance, since every single chaos cycle consisted of no cultivators being naturally born -- but the result of many mortals' reproduction, but that too took at least a hundred years for a cultivator to show up.

As it was only one in a trillion could a mortal couple give birth to a cultivator.

So after various chaos cycles, those immortal-like existence who can stay in the universe despite chaos cycles decided to protect the mortals in every cycle -- reminding them of their origins as just simple and humble mortals.

The immortal-like state for those existences wasn't truly a bliss, but rather a curse for them.

Since they could only stay in a form of energy after every chaos cycle, thus able to create a body that only has the potential to reach the fifth level of only one cultivation systems; and they only get to remember vague information that is at the level of only a paper of every life they life in their form.

But that wasn't the curse -- as they still had their immortality...

What nobody was that these immortal-like existences would suffer every chaos cycle since their souls would yearn to go to Heaven...

But of course, it was unbeknownst to them. All they felt was massive discomfort every time they start their lives, and also end it...

Though they were called immortal-like existences, it wasn't truly the case.

Because to obtain immortality, they sacrificed their souls in order to create a body that only had a paper worth of information of what they wanted them to know sent to it.

But that only worked for one life, as afterwards they are merged with energy and can't be killed since their bodies are energy itself -- and therefore can't die nor get a soul even if they wanted to...

-

Back to the country, it was bordered between a bamboo forest to the North, a wild sea to the South, a huge lake to the East and a large mountain to the West.

The country of Poledroc mainly lives off jewel-crafting and ore trading between mortals; since they had mines of gold, diamond, and such.

Poledroc itself is mainly covered in rivers and has a windy climate, which has lead to a closely concentrated population, despite the number of people, which means most of them live in big cities.

The country's landscape is quite frightening; forgotten farmlands, chaotic, overgrown fields and destructive waterfalls are just a sliver of the dangers Poledroc has to offer, which is why the country is an avoided destination among rich mortals who come to take a rest in some place.

This is also reflected in the country's flag, which has four small crosses in light gold, white, pink, dark red and light red. Their coat of arms are two shaking hands on top of three small circles

As for the cultivation side of the country, it was a government that consisted of big shots that had a high cultivation in one of the three systems that backed it, making it have a firm foundation for the next millennia.

-

He then started to think how he got introduced to cultivation...

He never even knew what cultivation was, living truly as a mortal.

Until an event happened that changed his life...

It was on a normal day where he'd been walking to one of the public gardens to train in, where he'd mysteriously teleported into a secret realm...

The air around in the secret realm was thick with smoke, obstructing his vision beyond a few meters.

Uncertainty emerged in his mind and it's not the thrilling uncertainty of exploration he wanted to have as a mortal, but a dreadful fear.

The landscape was so astonishing that temporarily made him suppress those thoughts, as he couldn't wait to explore it all.

He could hear songs and shrieks of the most peculiar creatures he'd ever encountered.

He'd been scared stiff, as it was the first time he encountered a monster in his life.

He showed calmness along with nervousness in his face that wasn't the slightest bit hidden from his face, as he was still twenty years old at that time.

But he wasn't scared the slightest -- just nervous, which was indeed abnormal for a mortal's first verge of emotions in front of a weird creature...

Many creatures gazed at him, but some of them did not seem content with his presence, making hid wariness present itself, keeping an eye out for them just to be sure.

There were many huge creatures, gigantic flying ones, and even some crawling ones.

This world seems to offer plenty to replenish most supplies, as he'd thought he could live satisfyingly his life until he dies, but he didn't know that Fate held something else for him...

-

A strange man, that looked like human, but had a pair of wings behind his back, and also a horn that was in the middle of his head, separated himself from the many creatures, as he then glanced at Adel for a while before he talked in a monotone, robot-like voice to him.

The strange man claims that Adel was the descendant of a lineage of cultivators -- who had protected the universe throughout every chaos cycle, and now was his turn to be the last heir of the ***** death clan; which seemed to indirectly mean that the clan faced extinction...

He also said that he was the guardian over this secret realm, and because too much time had passed; making the guardian restless, he'd made a personal move locating him, this teleporting him to this secret realm.

Afterwards, he glanced at the creatures that were in the secret realm and told him that their prowess were just ants to him, in the divine cultivation realm; as without him they would've released pressure on Adel that would make him instantly die.

He finally mentioned something about this place being the most secure of all places he could be in. Since without a ***** death bloodline, everyone would die when they just step into the secret realm.

Adel found his words weird, like what were cultivators? What even was a chaos cycle?

His back was drenched in sweat as he thought of the words 'last heir'...

If even the guardian, which seemed to hold enormous power wasn't able to behead the threat, then how could he, someone who can't even lift a car, behead some threat of that level?

Suspicious and untrusting of this situation, Adel somewhat keenly agrees to the proposal, the choice was made fast, perhaps too fast, but this situation requires quick thinking.

After all, if the strange man who seemed to call himself 'guardian' truly wanted to harm him, wouldn't he already be dead by now? So might as well give it a chance.

And besides, his own subconscious self for some reason seemed to trust this guardian, which made him frown as he questioned the guardian about it.

He just told him he had the same bloodline as him, thus making him somewhat trusting to the same kin as himself.

But what if this strange man is pulling a situation was worse than it appears? How could an ordinary young guy like himself play a part in all this? No turning back now though, as he just clenched his fists in determination, which made the guardian smile for a split second, which went undetected by Adel as he was in his own thoughts...

The guardian then waved his hand, before a portal appeared beside them, leading Adel to a strange place...

The ground beneath his feet was cracked and dry, and the air is hot and dusty.

He could feel his skin begin to sweat and his lungs burn with each breath.

Though a sense of calm takes hold of him. Perhaps, something in the air was affecting his mind, calming him despite the chilling atmosphere...

The guardian didn't say much as it just continued without breaking a sweat, moving towards a door and opening it.

CREEK!

The door let out a loud sound before it showed a natural sight...

A scruffy bed of moss-covered grass is rimmed by elegant hedges, flower bushes, and shrubs.

A few, thick trees stands in the center, their trunk and crown form an almost protective roof of the garden.

The smaller flower bushes are well kept, precisely cut, which meant that they were somehow looked after.

He found a square shaped building, that was fully surrounded by a covered terrace.

From the outside this house looks posh and bizarre.

It has been built with wood covered in render and has wooden decorations.

Small, rounded windows add to the overall style of the house and have been added to the house in a mostly asymmetric way.

"*Cough*, I replaced this house with one that was similar to what those mortals call 'modern houses', in order to better suit the Master in the house, but it's just the outside not the inside." The guardian embarrassingly coughed as it moved its gaze away from Adel, which left him speechless, but just nodded his head without saying much.

The inside though, looked like an abandoned land, with an old man and a book beside it that had the book and question in it :' what is the true meaning of life ?'...

-

Adel continued thinking for a long time, remembering those 'adventures' of his, as he even had a harem of his own...

Albeit he indeed possessed a bad reputation, that could be said among men.

As for women? Well, they all had weird, lustful thoughts after him.

After all, who wouldn't want to be the woman of the man who escaped even the ruling clans of the peak-tier dimensions?

But Adel wasn't just playful, as he indeed had feelings for his harem; and it could be said the same for them as well, as they loved him too without wanting to gather his secret.

But the ending was just sad for him, as he indeed wanted to have his harem with him in the next life by following the book's instructions; but it seemed he couldn't even cross back to the next life, much less bring them with him.

But what he didn't know was that Fate held a huge surprise for him about his harem...

-

After what seemed like millions of years that passed, Adel could be found laying in the void, comprehending some mysterious laws.

But it wasn't true comprehension, as his weak soul couldn't comprehend such laws, as they were something beyond even what his clan in its peak could face...

These laws where Ka**ic laws, as Adel was deeply in comprehension of them, as very little information was flowing into his mind...

"If a vigorous seed were to be planted in a nutritionless habitat, it would still be a trash seed...

If it manages to grow, it would nevertheless be weak and could only refer to the other normal seeds that matured along with it...

However, if that same potent seed were to be rooted in fertile and nutritional soil, the number of Times it would grow would be greater than the normal seeds that were planted together with it...

Thus, cultivators' lives are the same as a seed... If they were to have a strong background it'd flourish... But if they were to have a weak background they wouldn't be able to flourish, but be suppressed by higher powers..."

"...Everything is good, nothing is bad... Everything is decided upon a being's perspective whether it is true or wrong..."

"...All individuals have their own preferences to make... Thus, no matter, a single house cannot have only loyalists... But also traitors who have have been blinded in greed..."

Adel kept thinking, and his soul emitted clear fluctuations like a boat sailing through the sea's violent waves...

His soul power kept growing until even the void shook...

But then a wide eye opened in Adel's soul, making all the previous energy undetectable and sealed from the environment, and made all the comprehension he'd learn now, or in the future sealed even to Adel himself, before it closed again as if it was never opened...

What seemed a long time have passed, Adel finally opened his eyes, looking around in confusion before he wanted to let out a sigh, but wasn't able to as he was still in his soul form...

He shook his head in his soul form as he thought:'I can't believe I still want to sigh despite the amount of time that I spent here, anyway time to go back now that I gathered enough strength to move...'

That's right! The eye indeed kept 0,1% of the power in Adel's soul unsealed, which too was powerful; but was nonetheless enough for him to move around...

He looked around, found a weird blue thread that lead to some small orb that was close to other orbs, but we're of different sizes...

There was an orb that was quite tiny, had a white color, but seemed like it had the same energy fluctuations as the void he was residing in...

He looked around in confusion, only to find out that the blue thread he found was linked to an orb that seemed like hugging the white orb, extremely close to it; yet had a completely different energy fluctuation.

Adel instinctively moved towards the orb, then afterwards he disappeared from the void where he was...

-

Exactly after Adel left, a figure could be seen looking around in frenzy, as it sensed some being comprehending Ka**ic laws, and d***h laws, which was impossible as such news wouldn't get unnoticed by someone like him...

The void around him shook violently, before he frowned as he said:"Which ******* clan is this?! Able to understand all the of ka**ic laws and d***h laws in just 500 million years... Even geniuses in the higher ******* wouldn't be able to do so... Just who?"

It continued to wander around for a long time, before it just waved its hand casually, making a portal to a faraway glimmering orb that was many times bigger than even the white orb...

-

Meanwhile, after Adel connected back to the orb, he felt slightly uncomfortable but didn't know why, so he just shook his head before he finally opened his eyes, looking around in confusion yet again...

But before he could do anything, he heard a voice in his head that startled him...

"Now now, you were in some deep sleep for about 16 years, so your two souls should be able to fuse for now...

As for the specifics, you'll get to know about everything in due time.

I'll lead your soul into that place, hopefully, we'll meet again if you ascend to the ##@$?!, though only once you're knowledgeable and strong enough.'

Adel was drenched with cold sweat running down his back as he thought of his words.

But then he was confused... 16 years...? wasn't he comprehending something for what seemed more than a hundred million years?

But then he just shook his head, weirdly not thinking too much about it...

-

But unbeknownst to him, he'd learnt all of the ka**ic laws and d***h laws to their peak, but cannot use even one in a quintillionth of their strength due to his poor 'current' soul cultivation that wouldn't be able to bear it...

As even if he achieves the peak of this universe, he wouldn't be able to control even more than a trillionth of its strength, much less use all of the comprehension...

As for the thread, it was what the future held for him, thus making him connected to it.

-

Adel shook his head, getting out if his stupor before he let out a loud sigh that came out if his mouth this time...

He decided to keep the matters hidden, as he thought was happened then was but a dream which had some type if time dilation, so he didn't think too much...

"Yeah, you mentioned something about directing my soul in some other plane, place what was that about?"

'I could answer your concerns right now since I'm gonna lead your soul to another realm, plane, or world, whatever you might call it, that's out of God's dimensions and that clears your soul of its restrictions!

Now let's start talking, shall we? The mortal realm over here in God's dimension is special, that shouldn't exist in the world where I'll send your soul over to, as the realms over there start directly cultivating beyond the mortal realm, due to the lack of the three primordial energies, as they are all mixed into Chi.

As for why you could read my memories, you've reached a terrifying level which even amazed me as it's absurd for a mortal like you to reach such a level!

Now, enough chit-chats, I'm gonna make your soul enter a mortal's body, that had its fate on a fortunate one, and then you shall understand the law of Death once you reach a certain realm!'

Also, effort wins over talent, as even if one has a heaven-defying talent but doesn't use it, they're as useless as one gets.'

"Wait, so there are some other ways and other persons who have done the same?"Asked Adel in a hurried tone, before the soul could leave.

'I can't say anything anymore, all I can say is that the 6 supreme laws aren't impossible to learn, but that is only by the method that is mentioned in the book you've read.

And there are also those before you who chose to study the way of the law of Destiny, Fate, Time, etc; but whether they have succeeded or not, that I can't tell.

You should also start dwelling with mortals while your prowess is still in the mortal realm, as that would bring hidden advantages that would show later on.

And be alert, don't undervalue the 6 desires and 7 emotions, some who've failed to discern a supreme law just because they couldn't control their emotions and desires enough.'

"Alright, so that's it. Then as to what you did say, the supreme laws can be learned through the dimensions that are out of God's dimensions, after the restraints are shattered after one's soul travels through the to the other dimension, and starts the journey, so I reckon that I'll start right away after I arrive, as time waits for no one.

But then you said I was asleep for 16 years, so basically this soul and mine would fuse now." Said Adel in an excited tone.

'Yes, and beware, I'm going to inform you the realm that you have to achieve right now, and remember that the peak power on Earth and other dimensions is non-existent on the new world, as the mortal realm doesn't truly exist, but is a special existence only due to God's powers in that dimension of his.

One can get close enough on power level to be able to create one's universes, but that is nigh impossible for anyone other than God...'

Author's Note:

-

Phew, 4000 words in one chapter!

Thanks for reading, I'd be glad if you could leave your comments down below!

This is a complete rewrite as you've read, this won't have much similarity.

As for the void plot, along with the ka**mic laws and d***h laws, which you have guessed right, that are karmic and death laws, they wouldn't be useful or referred to in this novel.

Ignore Them, since that's the very end of this novel, where I'm hopefully gonna put a sequence after it; a new book of which the ka**mic laws and d***h laws are used!

That doesn't mean they wouldn't be used though, it just won't be referred to in the plot.

It's all different by the way, death laws in this novel do indeed have necromancy if you were expecting that, but it wouldn't be the main focus of death laws as it would mix with karmic laws to make something different...

Anyway, as for new chapters, I'll start scheduling them for 31/01 for this novel, as for my second [ Rise of the nefarious devil], I'll do so too there.

So as you can see, it's hard writing 4 chaps a day for both my novels...

Word count for each chapter would vastly differ, for example next chapter which I have edited by now has 2000 words, and the one after that ( which is also edited by me ) reached 3500 words...

I'll fix the word count though, as after the 10th chapter I'll hopefully do 1000 words/chap at the very least.
