Pin-drop silence

The next day, Iris got up thinking about her plan, she needed to show her real face and that's the first step to proving herself not to anyone but to trample over them.

Just then an idea popped into her head, she woke Felicity up and explained everything in which the other accepted because she knows the feeling of one been ignored or rejected by your mate.

After talking they decided to carry out their plan on the day of their upcoming concert which was few weeks from now.

Iris couldn't stop feeling happy, she played and danced to her favorite song sang by her mentor titled "home by Eminem".

"Shout to everybody

who's been on this trip with me,

you don't have to agree, but if you feel like me....."

She kept singing along to the song without knowing her voice was getting louder each passing second.

"Cough" that very loud cough made her realize all she's been doing.

"Beautiful voice you've got there, have always known something was up with the way you sing on stage and your real voice, they don't correlate at all" Min remarked as he came Into her room.

"Why do you keep realizing all my secrets, my face, my hacking skills and now my voice" she glared at him jokingly?

He was her only mate she could be free with while the others treated her like thrash.

" Don't blame me, but am glad I keep finding out" he laughed.

"Am so happy you're my mate even if we aren't sure yet because you can only have one mate" he continued.

That brought tears to her eyes, she couldn't help getting overwhelmed that one of her mate (not sure yet) cherishes her a lot.

"Please don't cry, what did I say wrong ?am sorry" he apologized, running to comfort her.

He wiped her tears and looked into those mesmerizing eyes that made his heart thump faster.

He couldn't stop himself and smashed his lips on hers, he sucked her lower lip hungrily like one starved man, seeing that she wasn't responding due to shock he bit her lip gently, that made her more conscious, and she returned the kiss with the same intensity not minding this was her first kiss, they kept kissing passionately, he sucked on her tongue which elicited a moan from her that surprised them both and made them separate immediately. It became very awkward and Min excused himself, feeling flustered.

A day before the concert, Iris prepared for the showdown.

Today is the concert and Iris couldn't stop been nervous, Felicity kept encouraging her, and it was time for them to be on stage to announce the collaboration with the boy band and also for the concert.

Her ugly make-up remained on her face.

They got to stage and were speaking with the M. C, just then someone from the crowd threw a drink towards Iris, which poured into her eyes and spread all over her face.

Water was brought immediately for her to rinse her face on stage, she rinsed her face while bowing her head, no one saw the smirk on her face.

After drying her face, she slowly raised her head up.

Her face came into view, the noisy place became as silent as a graveyard.
