"Aren't you aware that if a werewolf feels a pain that isn't his, then that means the pain belongs to his mate. To cut the story short, his mate is in danger" their father rolled his eyes and explained.

Meanwhile, once he finished explaining, Ken's mother sat on the floor and began crying. Anyone who wasn't aware of Ken's initial pain would have thought it was his mother that was in pain.
