The Deity of Wrath VS Deity of the First Trial

--Sky's Perspective--

"System... Annihilation?" I asked myself.

The speed of light was reached by my opponent, and after kicking her ass for two minutes straight, she turned the tables.

The ground warped beneath me as she punched me so hard in the face that I lost everything.

I was knocked out of my consciousness, pulled back, and healed the missing parts of my face before I could even process what just happened.

"You wanted me to do this?! You wanted me to use my suicide move just to kill you?! SO BE IT! COME AT ME! DEITY OF WRATH!" She yelled out.

And this was it... this would be the end... FOR HER.

My eyes lit up in red color, outlined in purple, and I charged in again with both of my golden sabers.

I swung down, cracking the floor beneath us.

Providence backed up, flipped her body, and threw her saber at me.

Too slow.

I kicked it to the left, attached a strand, and swung it back at her. It collided with her side and her entire momentum shifted in that direction.

Providence was violently thrown to the ground, or what was left of it. She even bounced in the water, regained her footing, and broke the speed of light again.

I exhaled slowly, closed my eyes, and perfectly blocked the strike by outlining her path in golden strands. I caught her, flipped her, and split her in half three different ways before the shockwave of my attacks emitted across the field of water, raising waves higher than most buildings I've ever seen... including Orion's tower.

We hit each other, back and forth, taking hits and dealing them, damaging ourselves with hits that would've killed us if we weren't reinforced with these godlike strands. Providence and I were both teetering on the edge of total annihilation if this battle didn't end soon.

With the scythe circulating my position, I pulled it in toward Providence. She side-stepped the scythe, swung upward, and cut my left arm off completely. She was bypassing my reinforcement!

I summoned my left hand, pulled it inward in conjunction with my right hand, and then cut up Providence into tiny bits as all of the summoned sabers I created while fighting her were thrown into her body, including the katana, scythe, and Mom's weird glowing sabers.

She was pierced, maybe about fifty different times, and threw up blood. And while she was reacting, I broke every bone in her body with a kick that pushed the water up again.

She slid on the floor while panting heavily, taking out every saber by pulling on it and letting it hit the water.

I blinked and she grabbed my face with maximum force and velocity, slammed me into the water, and caused an eruption of waves again. I let every saber I just pulled pierce my body, and when one interacted with my stone again, Providence's body turned into blood and pieces of her innards that remained from the blast. I grabbed onto her head with my hand, threw it to the side, and let the scythe cut it in half.

However, she and I both know she isn't done.

I launched myself into the air, pulling into Mom's powerful sabers, and slammed them into the ground, pushing all water in the vicinity around us so high in the air that it touched the clouds.

The ravine I created in the ground started to suck in all of the water. While I watched all of this, a strand connected to the collar of my shirt, and pulled me into the ravine with a ton of power. I slammed into the bottom and bounced.

It took me a while to regain my composure, and once I did, the ravine, which was filling up with water rapidly, trapped both Providence and me in it.

"I didn't give you the correct amount of credit," Providence said, panting and spitting up blood.

"I underestimated your strength, more than once. You can blow holes in your own Mindspace, and I don't know many people who can do that. It's insane to me, watching this water coming closer to drowning you and me in this damn pit you created. I defeated your Mom... but it's not looking too good for me." Providence told me.

"You're very obedient to the fact that you're going to lose here. That's too adorable, coming from a lady so rotten. You're standing in my way and you will be reduced to atoms." I told her, walking closer with my golden saber.

"The one weakness of strands isn't anything we can make. It's the user's capabilities. Whatever we can imagine, we can create with strands. This was my world, this is what I imagined with my strands." Providence said, raising both of her hands.

"I can make anything I want." She said with a devious smile.

And then there it was.

That distant voice.

[SKY! MOVE! GO UP! HIT HER UPWARD!]

The text in my eye blared to cover up my entire vision... so I listened.

I uppercut Providence and she flew out of the ravine, and back into the sky. And at the moment my feet left the ground underneath the two of us, several sharp spikes coated in a gelatinous substance shot out of the ravine.

I could've regenerated... but it looked like it would've done some serious damage to me if I stayed in there. The voice saved me...

I kicked Providence in the head as I met her in the air and slammed my saber into her chest once more, pushing her straight into the water that rose on the battlefield. It was swallowing me... as was the desire to see Providence perish.

As the saber connected to the floor and slammed Providence into it, effectively trapping her, I wrapped her body in golden strands... yet, that didn't stop her.

I was filled with twisted daggers, daggers that I heard about in one of my classes, that required more than a team of surgeons to fix. Providence smiled as six of them fell out of my chest.

This was it... how do I finish this? The final blow... I need to kill her.

Drool poured out of my mouth and my eye twitched as I looked at her head.

How do I kill her?

I want to eat her flesh.

I want to mutilate her.

I want to kill her.

And as I thought about these things, a dull pain started to form in my chest.

[CURRENT HEART RATE: 299]

I was getting too close...

The heat from my hand started to come up as well... and out of every idea in my head, I figured out what I needed to do.

I slammed my last saber into Providence's head. It shot through her forehead, but she still smiled and shoved more of the daggers into my chest.

I can't do anything else!

DIE!

DIE!

DIE!

WHY WON'T YOU DIE?!

I pushed harder and harder, tensing my muscles up and bursting blood vessels in my arm. I pushed, with more strength than I've ever used in my entire life. I pushed, further and further, digging deep into the ground. And the heat surged. The water felt hot around me.

And I finally got my answer.

I didn't stop there, pushing the saber into the ground more and more until the handle touched her forehead as well... and that's when I focused all of my strands on heating the saber up.

I lost all strands in my body and began to bleed at an intense rate. But that didn't matter, not as the water bubbled and Providence's face turned into one filled with so much fear that my Wrath was finally satiated for a moment. It was an itch that was fixed for a second... and so I pushed further.

The bubbling water turned faster and faster, heating up so much that it began to boil.

Providence began clawing at my face, even tearing out one of my eyeballs and digging deep into my mouth through the ripped-out flesh on the side of my face. She pulled on my tongue and busted my teeth out of my mouth, but it didn't matter. She was on her way out.

I boiled her, watching the skin melt off her face like butter on a hot day. She screamed in the water, drowning herself in the scorching hot water. Her insides were burning alive, and my knees were following her body. My body was burning and bleeding...

I WON'T LOSE!

She boiled more and more, until all of the skin melted off of her face, along with her eyeballs.

Her last struggling breath to kill me ended with her long fingernails slitting my throat open over her.

It didn't matter how much blood I lost here.

Because if this didn't kill her, nothing would've.

I was pouring blood at a dangerous rate. This is killing me... but I need to know she's dead.

I let her boil for three more seconds as the blood left my face, throat, and chest.

And then, when I thought Providence to be dead, I smashed her skull with my fist and scattered what was left of her brain, absorbing the strands I put into the boiling water and healing myself.

I fell backward, facing toward the sky of The First Trial with heavy panting.

I did it... I won...

I think I did...

The red veil from my eyes vanished and I was stuck with blurred vision while looking at the sky.
