I Will Kill You, Illya Asterio

"MOM!" The little girl said.

Clad in brown hair and brimming red eyes, she ran over with tattered clothing and blisters in her opened hands.

And she stood in front of me with her arms out wide.

"Don't do it! Leave Dad alone!" She shouted out.

I turned in confusion to the girl as her look was stern like she meant what she said.

"Hey... what are you saying? I'm not your dad..." I muttered. She didn't change her head's position. She only continued to stare at Illya.

It was weird, but when I looked at that girl's face, I could see a hint of rage within it. I couldn't mistake that for anybody else. That girl looked almost identical to me.

"You've done enough! You killed Shike, and now you want to kill Dad! You stay away from him! Or else!" The girl shouted out. She summoned a golden saber with no strain on her body at all, and pointed it at the dead center of her throat, pushing against the skin.

"If you come any closer, I'll kill myself! Is that what you want?! Do you want your daughter to kill herself?!" She shouted out.

What the hell was this crazy girl saying?

Illya looked defeated...

Wait a minute. She called Illya her mother, and I was her father?! Where the hell did that come from?!

"Who are you...?" I asked the familiar-looking girl.

"I am Faith Asterio, daughter of Illya and Sky Asterio. And Mom cares more about my life than her own, so she won't do anything so long as I hold this saber close to my throat." Faith said.

I turned down to look at the ground where Shike was, and I felt my eye twitch again. That's when Faith dropped the saber and held her head in pain as she screamed.

I looked away from my dead best friend with tears welling up in my eyes and observed Faith on the ground.

Then I turned to Illya.

Illya had bright golden eyes and pure white wings on her back, walking over to me at a steady pace.

"You are being slowed down by these mortals. Shike was one casualty out of all. You didn't listen to me." She said, continuing her stride over to me.

"STAY AWAY!" Faith shouted again, holding her head in more pain.

Illya rose her hand and Faith lifted up into the air, flailing her arms as she was slammed into the ground about fifteen feet away.

"These mortals, your friends in The First Trial, and your friends in the real world hold you back from who you truly are. They hold the Deity of Wrath back because he has things he cares about still. I don't want that. We don't want that. We want you to serve under one thing, and that one thing is me. You are my guard dog and my slave, and you will help me kill whoever I tell you to. You will not love anything but me, you will not have anything but me, and you will smile at nothing but me." Illya said.

She threw a golden saber faster than I could process into the ground right beside my body. I couldn't even react. I couldn't outline that with my strands either. Just how powerful was this girl?

"I am The Deity. I do not have a title. I am the most powerful person in this Solar System. I am feared by millions, on Earth, and wherever else that there is life. You have nightmares about me, I am everything you fear, and everything you loathe." She said. She continued walking toward me.

Belle and Alexia woke up, and out of instinct, I shot a blast of ice that only Belle could use to block a strike from Illya.

"Oh? You're still fighting for them? Don't you know who has control over this world and your mind? You would dare bite the hand that feeds you?" Illya asked me.

"You promised me... you promised me my friends would be safe. When you stole my memories and my life from my friends, you never told me they would all die. You never told me I would forget them. You threatened their lives when I was powerless, but that simply isn't the case anymore. I think you and I both know how mad I am right now." I told her.

The veil of red covered my eyes again, and I looked at Illya with nothing but pure malice.

"Are you really saying that you're going to fight me? You want me to humiliate you in front of all of your friends? So be it." Illya said. She summoned both her sabers, made her wings disappear, and tightly wrapped her body in golden strands like it was some type of armor.

"You will understand how much it hurts you when I kill everybody. You will know nothing but me." She told me.

"Sky...? What's going on...? Belle asked me. Boo put her hand on Belle's shoulder and put her finger over her lip, telling Belle to be quiet.

"Any given second, and I mean just a second, is all it takes to kill them both. Is that what you want? You want them to die without saying goodbye? You want that guilt to swallow you again?!" Illya asked me.

"You're not killing them. And if you try, you will regret it." I told her. The look on my face was turning sour as I began to understand how horrible of a person she was.

"I'm not Providence, your threats are actually empty," Illya said. She rose her left hand and as fast as possible, I moved over to Belle's position. I knew what she was doing, as she had threatened me with it once before.

I grabbed the strand I could see leading to Belle's throat and cut it in half, doing the same with Alexia, and then stopping in front of them while wielding my saber.

"Where's Shike...?" Belle muttered again.

"Boo... I won't win this. Take her and run. Run as far as you can. I don't care how much it hurts you. If you care about our friends, then run, keep them alive! I will hold Illya as long as I possibly can. I need you to find a way out of this damn world. My friends, Dani, Carl, Lia, Charlie, and everybody, they will save you. I promise!" I turned to Boo with a sincere look and as tears welled up in her eyes, she nodded.

"You better return to us!" Boo said. She used her ability to move at the speed of light, getting everybody out of there as soon as possible. Meanwhile, I turned back to Illya as her face turned even more rotten.

"It's clear to both of us how we don't like each other. I have to warn you, I'm a lot more powerful than I was in the Real World. You fight me like you want to kill me, and I will kill you. If you leave me alone and let me leave with my friends, and I mean all of them after you revive Shike, then I'll let you live." I told her.

"Shike's not coming back. He's dead, for good. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have more of your friends I need to kill." She said. Her footsteps got closer to me in the water, and I decided internally that today would be the day that Illya dies.
