The Awakening of The Goddess of Wrath

I grabbed Illya's face by her eye socket and mouth, and slammed her into the ground.

The saber in my hand lit up in the same golden color Illya had and the two blades clashed together. I pushed as hard as I could, and used my ability to reverse the flow of strands. The blade of the saber cut into Illya's hands, and I chopped into her throat with the golden saber, making it three-quarters of the way through before it was repulsed the opposite direction.

I hit the back of her head with a push of gravity and launched her into the tip of my foot. I felt her teeth fall out into my foot as she was launched up in the air, and I used the gravity to push her into the ground again. Blood spurt out of her mouth, but the strands were quick to heal her.

I didn't care to reason with my ability, I only cared about making her bleed and suffer more.

The tendrils that were once on Zeal returned to her back and she launched them toward me. With one swipe of my hand, they exploded, and Illya's legs crumbled under the pressure I exerted on the top of her head.

"For a Deity, you sure can't react." I told her.

The Eye of Providence triggered and I side-stepped a thrust attack from the illusion ability she tried to hide under, grabbed her wrist, and pulled it from her body, watching the veins, arteries, and nerves all snap from the pull.

There was something about the look in Illya's eyes that made me happy. Almost... too happy... Her look at me like I was psychotic was so appealing to me, that I let out a giggle before slashing her body with Sky's Blade, cutting her open wide to watch that blood all flow.

Illya jumped backward and summoned wings on her back, but with a simple point from my pointer finger that went toward the ground, she was stuck inside of the debris of glass because of another gravity push.

"I don't remember telling you that you could fly, bitch." I warned Illya. She smiled inside of the debris and pointed to my right-hand side.

My left eye exploded out of my head and I held it in pain as my built-in, sixth sense went off from behind me.

I ducked, performed a somersault, and cut Illya's right leg off.

We both landed back on our feet after that small attack and Illya stood on her left foot until her right one regenerated.

Illya summoned more ice to shoot at me and it caused me to trip up. I wasn't prepared for the hundreds of icicles to be launched at me, but again, my ability made it easy to dodge and close the distance between Illya.

The volume of the dome we were inside of was huge, almost as big as Orion's Region on the Isle. There was way too much space for us, and the screams of the people outside of the dome, couldn't reach us.

Illya pushed her foot into the ground and it rose up like it was nothing. Floating on strands visible to the naked eye, the ground completely shifted into an upwards slope, with Illya at the top, summoning icicles to throw at me.

She must've been storing the kinetic energy from my attacks to perform this one... no matter.

I started running up the slope, jumping over the icicles coming down, ducking under, and grabbing onto one to deflect the others.

I was able to flip my body easily and could predict the trajectory of some spiral-icicles that changed their direction the longer they were in the air.

I finally got to Illya, flipped my body again, and slammed down with Sky's Blade, revealing that all along, she was an illusion.

Illya was above me with another icicle in her hand, ready to push me into the ground. I blew the icicle up with a blast from a gravity wave, and then received a kick from her that pushed me down the slope.

I interlocked my fingers and pulled them, just as Belle and the others did to create this dome, and shifted the entire gravitational field around us.

The slope was downwards before because of the way gravity worked, but now, I could stand on the slope without sliding forward or backward. I completely shifted the way gravity did its job from within the dome, and Illya was ready for it, as a large glacier appeared far away from me, further up the slope.

Now, it didn't matter because it wouldn't fall toward me.

Illya shattered the glacier with a snap of her fingers and started to walk toward me.

I made a fist with my left hand and the White Stone started to fade away into my hand. From that point, the gravity around us increased tenfold, pushing Illya into the ground, and even making me bend my knees.

The White Stone finally reappeared on my hand, and then built the same kind of pattern further up my left arm, up to my elbow. Sitting around my arm was now seven different White Stones, all that I had making a gauntlet.

These Stones... I shouldn't have seven, should I?

I met Illya's gaze again and watched her face turn to worry as the stones started to gleam a bright, red color.

From that red color, they started to slowly shift into a purple color, just like the sabers I used to use. The Eye of Providence returned to me and I could see strands in my own body, flowing like a waterfall, up into my left arm... or wait, was that flowing from my left arm instead of into it?

I fell to my knees and felt a pressure in my chest block my throat. I couldn't breathe! Shit!

[GODDESS OF WRATH AWAKENING: 98%...]

I slowly realized as I was suffocating... that I didn't need air.

I didn't feel like I was choking, but I didn't have to breathe. How did I feel like this? Was I breathing, and just didn't realize it?

Drool started to pool in my mouth and leak out of the corners of my mouth.

I lost basic motor functions and felt myself lying on the floor as a breeze passed by me.
