Deity of Wrath VS Goddess of Wrath (1)

--Sky's Perspective--

After Illya fell from power, all of my old abilities and strands returned to me.

And I instantly followed the surplus of strands that existed within the battlefield still. And, at the source, stood Dani.

The woman I loved.

The look in her eyes resembled my wrathful state more than I could ever imagine. It was like staring in a mirror.

However... I possessed something that Dani didn't.

I no longer hated myself.

Whatever veil she was hiding behind, it wasn't as thick as mine.

My eyes turned red and purple strands started to flow in them slightly, preparing my body for a fight against the most powerful person on this Isle.

Dani Asterio.

We charged in at each other and our sabers clashed, creating a shockwave of air that emitted from the impact.

Her look turned even grimmer and her broken canines, which looked like they had been extended, were starting to show.

She pushed me back with her foot, backflipped, and used her ability to pull me closer.

Her saber connected to my forehead, and I absorbed the kinetic energy, launching it right into her stomach, along with seven spears of ice that encapsulate the impact point in a circle.

Using Boo's ability, I quickly closed the distance, punched her in the stomach, and used Boo's ability to appear above her again.

She held her saber in a horizontal form so I couldn't slash downward, but she overlooked something.

That wasn't my goal.

I landed on the ground behind her and kicked out her ankles. She was in midair and tried to manipulate gravity on me, but I rose my hand and the ability interacted with my White Stone and deflected it toward Dani again.

How far I've come... after a deflection, I ran in with my arm and left eye still intact.

Dani was launched back, flipped her body and used the floor to reclaim her footing, and ran at me.

She jumped at me with her fist cocked back and I did the same, colliding with the claws on her hand and causing another shockwave to emit from our position.

She wasn't going to stop... but I wasn't going to kill her.

Of course, after my Deity of Wrath state was awakened, I can't use my full power without eviscerating Dani completely. She wasn't going to die here, I just had to knock her out of this Goddess of Wrath state.

Just like how my fatigue came to a point when fighting Orion... hers has that point too.

She was starting to sweat. It was close.

She was wielding my blade, running and slashing all around to try and cut me open.

But I was too fast.

Gaining this state where I can wield Boo, Shike, Belle, and Alexia's abilities have sent me above the level of Dani or Illya.

Instead of Illya being the most powerful... I think that title now belonged to me.

I am The Deity.

Dani ran in again with a flip that was about lead to a kick.

Using Boo's ability, I appeared behind her and kicked her in the head. She blocked it, but with the force from her block she tried to put back onto me, I rested my hand on her left shoulder and exerted it. She bounced off of the floor and refocused on my old position.

But I was close to her again with Boo's ability.

I kicked her into the ground and watched her bounce up.

She adjusted her body and tried to use gravity to snap my arm, but I used Shike's ability to absorb the force, and kicked the ground, raising it to stop the fall from doing any catastrophic damage to her body.

When she landed again, I froze her body to the ground and electrocuted her with Myth's ability.

Dani screamed out in pain, but it sounded more like a distorted monster than the sweet girl I know is trapped behind that veil.

I'll get you out of there, no matter what it takes.

We ran at each other again and I teleported behind her with my fast speed, kicking her forward.

As she was in the air from my kick, I teleported back to my original position, picked her up by her legs, and slammed her into the floor.

She didn't let that slide, grabbing onto my legs with that claw, and ripping it apart.

I regenerated it as quickly as it fell off and with Boo's ability only focused on my foot, I created a shockwave that split us apart.

Dani tried to flip the way gravity worked on me, but I absorbed the reverse of power with Shike's ability and continued to walk toward her.

She was clearly confused and annoyed, but I needed to use that here.

The biggest problem in my state of Wrath was that I couldn't reason with logic. Here, she has the same thing.

She used the same attack, even after I proved that I could defuse it. She's not thinking straight, and she's desperate for any advantage she can get.

I never realized that when I was drowning in Wrath, I was as unreasonable as this...

Dani ran at me with my sword and swung at me.

I rose my hand up and struck the side of it, which cracked it and made the tip of the blade fall to the floor. Her surprised look remerged and she tried to slash at me with her claws.

I interlocked my fingers with her swing and snapped the claws off of her, and grabbed onto one of her horns to flip her over.

While flipping, Dani summoned a saber and cut into my stomach. She made it through, but I secured my organs before they fell out of my body, and she was even more annoyed.

The sweat was beading on her chin and dripping to the floor. Her moves were erratic and were a result of her brain moving faster than her body. I've been in this position before...

I summoned Belle's icicles in front of me and stood still, letting them circulate around my body as I watched those gears turn in Dani's head.

She was going to use that damn ability again, wasn't she?

To my surprise, I was wrong. The ground blew up underneath me and with the broken glass that came up, she reversed the gravity on them and cut both of my eyes out.

I summoned them back as I felt one of the icicles bend from the pressure of Dani closing in on me, and I sent them forward as I regenerated my eyes.

Dani's arm fell off and collapsed onto the floor with a squishy noise that splattered blood around its position, and she started to pant.

She was close to losing her stamina... she was close to falling out of that state.
