SKY AND AVIE VS COLE (4)

--Sky's Perspective--

[System Restoration]

[Evolved]

I broke the sound barrier running at Cole, dodging The Retriever while jumping through the obstacles he summoned, and Avie appeared behind him to kick him into me.

With the bladeless Katana Alexia left behind, I picked it up with the Mahina Blade in my left hand and clashed the two together while slamming it into Cole's body.

A mess of wind and shards of the blade spouting everywhere stunned Cole and cut up his body more. It may have been a subtle detail, but his healing was now delayed to a second.

In that short amount of time, Avie jumped in, boxing him out with fast punches and kicks. She slammed it into his body, his face, his jaw, and both of his knees and then her heel went up into his chin with a skillfully placed kick.

Cole was launched up in the air and I held my left arm out to activate one of the abilities I was given.

They spoke to me when the System had been restored... a whole library of abilities presented themselves to me, and they waited for my use.

"[Time Freeze]" I muttered out loud.

As I said the words, the world around me froze, with ice sprouting from everything it could connect to. Cole was frozen in the air, stuck watching me as I walked right underneath him, and stared upward.

I smiled as my hair scathed the back of my neck. It was far too long... far too troublesome now...

[GOD OF WRATH: FULLY AWAKENED]

Enough about the Isle... The Pinnacle... whatever I wanted to call it at whatever moment.

We weren't talking about the past anymore.

Avie slammed her fist into the back of Cole's head going at her insane speed, and flipped, landing right behind me.

With Mom's ability, I pushed gravity down on Cole, letting the kinetic energy all pile up behind him while he was still frozen in the sky.

Providence's Spikes came up out of the ground and as they rose up, plumes of black smoke came up as well.

Death, Famine, Pestilence, and War all emerged out of the ground in their most prime conditions with all of their weapons on their hips.

The spike went through Cole's body as he was still frozen in the air, and I smiled again, as the Four Horsemen looked at me with confusion.

"What the hell is going on...? You're not Providence..." Death said to me.

"I am your Master. I killed Providence and became the one who completed The First Trial. You will obey me," I told him.

"This guy... killed Providence...? What do you want us to do?" Famine asked me. I smiled, lightly moving my head upward to point to Cole.

"Hit him," I told them.

In the instance I finished my sentence, each of their weapons were primed and slashed a small wound in Cole's body.

The reason I summoned The Four Horsemen was to afflict Cole with their curses. I knew about each of them, and I know that getting Cole to lose, or at the very least, be weakened enough to push the end of my lifespan out, was to hit him with everything I could.

Every memory, everything I could do, I had to do now.

Friends and foes across my entire lifespan so far were appearing in my vision as The Eye of Providence activated in my eyes.

They guided me and at this point, I could finally see their faces.

The [Time Freeze] Ability came to an end and Cole was impaled with Providence's spikes, hitting the ground at such a high speed that he bounced and suffered all the damage at once.

They disappeared, and he got up, healing all of his wounds, just as I expected.

"So many trump cards... but nothing to end the fight definitively," Cole said with a smile.

"Don't be so sure about that," I told him. My eyes connected with Avie, and we both ran forward.

While Cole ran at the both of us, Avie crouched down and lowered her speed, allowing me to jump off of her back and gain air.

Cole launched The Retriever at me and I slid against it with the Mahina Blade, scraping all of the metal off of it and watching Avie continue her stride forward.

"I have two weapons and you both share one brain, you aren't beating me," Cole said. He turned his body up to catch the Mahina Armament but was unable to do so because I was never aiming for him.

He missed my body trying to grab the blade and was shocked to see that there was a large Warhammer coming up behind him to strike him in the face. I no longer had to use my hands to create weapons or change their trajectory.

When the Warhammer connected with his back, it launched vines made of ice all over his body and pushed him forward toward Avie.

She took the bladeless katana out of my hands when I dropped it in midair, and slammed it into Cole's stomach.

She dropped the blade, summoned a dagger in her hands, and spun her body up, cutting through the exact middle point of his jaw with it.

He couldn't regenerate in time by the time I started to land on the ground. Umbra's Gauntlets were priming my forearms for a powerful attack, and I landed a hit on the dagger going through his face with my White Stone and Umbra's Gauntlets pairing together an attack.

The top of his head was blown into pink brain matter, and he was launched back a hundred feet, bouncing off of the ground, and taking even longer to regenerate.

"Slowly but surely..." Avie muttered. She regenerated her own body walking up closer to me.

[Lifespan Reduction: 30 Years]

"We need to figure out his weakness... he's not invincible... and he didn't suffocate like I anticipated... got any ideas?" I asked Avie.

She caught a glimpse of my eye, even though I tried to hide it, and her face was filled with displeasure.

"It's a suicide mission... that's why we can't go slowly..." Avie muttered to herself.

She was trapped in thought, thinking of a solution.

Now, it took Cole ten seconds to regenerate... so long as he could regenerate, this threat would persist. I needed to hit him with so much power that he would evaporate.
