Why His Name Is Sky

"I could never see myself as an asshole... I mean, come on, do you even know me? Do you know my story? My beginning? What I had to put myself through?!" Sky unleashed onto the World Leaders. They didn't care to listen to his story, but stood quiet to hear what he had to say for himself.

"I woke up on the beach... I recite it all the time, I remember it all the time! I woke up on the beach! The beach... the beach... I tried to keep everybody alive... but they were taken from me. Each life taken from me was in an effort to kill me, yet they failed, and my friends suffered, they died," Sky explained again. The World Leaders looked sullen at the sight of Sky explaining his past.

"I mean, day in and day out, I spent my life without my memories of the past, and still ending up being the victim of everybody else's hatred. I ended up being the one they could push all negative things onto. I ended up being so much of this world's source of hatred that I forgot what it meant to be happy! Because of people like you..." Sky pointed at Ultima and Khalil, then turned to point at Netsu, Chikyu, Raiden, and Acchi.

"People like you show up and think you know anything about me, but you don't. You just know how to push my buttons. I fought off all of Quake for Zealous, and this is my reward. To fall into somebody else's plan to take over... to be a victim of conquest yet again... you people just don't leave me alone..." Sky muttered, specifically looking at Ultima.

"You aren't fooling anybody!" Ultima screamed out toward Sky. He nodded while smiling, digesting the information she told him thoroughly.

"That's right... you still overlook what I say... you heard me, but you weren't listening... Red's death dragged on me for a long, long time. She was snatched from underneath a sheet of ice over a bay we both crossed in hopes of finding safety. Isn't that ironic? Death in exchange for safety? And you still... you still just sit over there and tell me I'm the bad guy," Sky choked on his words as tears started to well up in his eyes.

"My sister turned on me... my only other sister died giving her life for mine... my parents died defending me... my friends died... what kind of leader am I? To let them all die like that?" Sky asked Ultima next. He refused to make eye contact with anybody else, only watching Ultima shift her body while keeping a straight face.

"You're an Asterio, so pretty much a failure," Ultima replied. Sky nodded again with a smile.

"That's right... a failure... all I am is a failure. I'm a failure who killed so many people to get where I am. A failure who stood up to every, single, damn challenge this world threw at me... and a failure because I don't fit your standards. Can you believe that, Ultima?!" Sky screamed out again. His ripped shirt caught a gust of wind that blew past him as the World Leaders began to plan a counterattack for what Sky was planning.

"I never understood why everybody hated me... not until I saw what I used to be capable of. I never understood, until the end of my fight with Quake. My entire being, my power, it all stems from that person I used to be. That person I killed. I realized why so many people hated me," Sky started. His teeth shot out of a nasty, curved smile that he made. His eyes turned golden with the Gaze of Wrath as he began to explain.

"It's because nobody is like me. It's because I am at the top of the food chain. It's because I'm just a fifteen-year-old boy who's so unhinged with power that not even The Pinnacles of the world can stop me! It's all because of jealousy, because of envy. Because you look at me and you understand that I have the power to take everything from every single one of you at any given moment. It's because no matter how many years of your pathetic lives you've spent training, I've met it and excelled at it in just four short months," Sky told the World Leaders. They all had a hint of irritation in their bones now, listening to Sky spout nonsense for far too long.

"It was in me all along. Illya, Faith, Avie, those people are what made me so powerful, but yet, held me back. I was only as powerful as the strongest, and now that all three are gone, that means I can soar far past their limits until I create my own! I'm strong, I'm fast, I'm intelligent, and there's nobody on Earth born with my talent, that's for damn sure!" Sky shouted out. He finally lost a grip on sanity, staring up at the sky with tears falling down his cheeks with the Gaze of Wrath active, he let out a shriek that could be heard for hundreds of feet.

"It was in my hand, my bones, my blood since I first woke up! It's even in my name! Even where I was born! I am The Pinnacle of all Arkians! I am the Arkian who surpassed them all! I am the God of Wrath! I am The Sky Asterio! I am everything everybody fears! I am the enemy of the world! For far too long have I complained about my titles, and never embraced them!" He yelled out again.

"FOR FUCKS SAKE! MY NAME IS SKY BECAUSE I AM ABOVE YOU ALL! YOU ARE NOTHING!" He screamed out again. The Gaze of Wrath flickered in his eyes and five of the six World Leaders charged in with no time to waste.

Acchi collided with Sky's saber, Ultima collided with the other, Raiden was met with the elevated ground from Sky's kick, and Netsu's flames were stopped by Sky's Ice Obelisk. He got almost everybody at a standstill and opened his eyes once more to the Gaze of Wrath.

"I'll try to make sure you can have open-casket funerals but do not expect much. You are not worth preserving,"
