Sky, Raiden, Khalil, and Acchi all exited the room to a kid jumping up and down, clutching to Acchi.
"Wah! That was scary Mom! I can't believe you went up against The Sky Asterio... you don't seem to be a bad guy," Chikyu, a person who joined the fight near the beginning and left at the same time spontaneously confessed, hiding behind her Mom.
"I'm not anymore, your mom changed me," Sky said, patting Chikyu on the head. She couldn't have been any older than ten, showing signs of mature facial structure, but childish clothing with patterns all over it.
"Woo! Mom changed Sky Asterio!" Chikyu shouted out. To Sky's surprise, Chikyu rose the ground with a tap of her foot and sat on her Mom's shoulders with a wide smile, bobbing back and forth while humming a tune that Sky found unfamiliar. Sky's amazement invoked an explanation from Acchi.
"She has the ability to manipulate the Earth at will, passed down from me. It's funny, she used to not be able to control it... she's the only reason I got here as fast as I did, Chikyu could sense a disruption in the Earth because somebody put a crater in it," Acchi said with narrow eyes aimed at Sky. He rubbed the back of his head, eventually meeting up with Ruby, who was doing a lot better from the wound in her chest.
"Ah! You're here! Excellent, right this way!" Ruby said. She invited the World Leaders up onto another mound scattered along the length of the battlefield, displaying the five people that were cluttered around Faith to the surviving citizens.
Sky could only think about Faith at this point, while Raiden, Acchi, Chikyu, and Khalil waved toward the crowd. Sky felt himself emotionless, thinking about the hole in his heart left by Faith's departure.
"And, a word, from our Savior, Sky Asterio," Raiden called out, clapping her hands while her eyes lightly closed, symbolizing a sense of acceptance that she transferred to the large crowd Sky had.
He watched them all wait for something that he was going to say. Yet, he hardly knew what he wanted to tell the people. He nodded slightly, rubbing his left arm, and then looking up to the crowd after finding the right words to say.
"My fight with Quake was finished the second they walked through the front door. Call me cocky, but I've never lost a fight before as bad as they did. However, it may have been me that stopped Cole and broke their assault, but it shouldn't go overlooked who helped me whittle away at their strength," Sky began, listing the names of all combatants, dead or alive.
"Whether they put their lives on the line or not, there are several others who didn't, yet saved countless lives," Sky added, listing the names of all utilitarian people who transferred messages and helped escort people out from Zealous before it's total annihilation.
"I came down to Earth on February Twelfth, a day in which I knew that people would hate me. In my past life, which I had no memory of, I sinned, I was a cold-hearted killer, one who murdered innocent children, one who killed innocent people, one who destroyed the world. I woke up without my memories, without my drive to hurt the innocent, without my power. I fought today for some specific people, but halfway through the fight, I realized it wasn't just for them, it was for all of you," Sky pointed toward the crowd with a smile. His White Stone started to shine again in the sunlight once more.
"I am the perfect example of somebody who may have had a bad past but shows promise for a good future. I fought my hardest for Zealous, for its survival, and it survived because we all worked hard for it. Those of us who ran, we inhabit the city. Those of us who fought, we protected the city. Those of us who helped, we guided the city. We cannot have this city without all groups, so I ask this of you, as my formal apology, to remember what I have done, but to never idolize me. My actions weren't to prove myself worthy, it was to protect everybody else," Sky said. He digested what Faith told him, and officially changed his drive with a smile as he continued his speech.
"Somebody dear to me told me that I need guts to protect the people I care about... you've seen what I can do," Sky said, pointing at the crater in the ground, "So, please, allow me to protect the city of Zealous," Sky said. He deeply bowed to the citizens of Zealous, trying to hold his tears in while thinking about Faith.
"Not bad at all, Sky," Raiden said. She stopped swirling her wine, holding her left hand up to the sky.
"This is the man we owe our lives to! This is the man who proved himself innocent! This is the man we can depend on to protect the city of Zealous, or whatever we may decide to call this new place! I, Raiden Madio, Leader of The United Nations of Chilambo, declare Sky Asterio forgiven of all crimes against humanity!" Raiden shouted out. The people in the crowd held their left hands to the sky, shouting out Sky's name in unison as one big cheer.
"Sky! Sky! Sky!" They shouted. Sky felt himself look at the crowd, chills shooting up his back as he heard his name shouted so frequently, and with such energy.
Avie took steps behind him, raising his left hand with her right hand, and smiling toward the crowd as well. The Arkians had grouped with the crowd, holding their hands up as well, smiling toward their beloved leader.
"This? This is a good first step," Raiden explained to Sky, waiting for the cheers to die down before her next declaration.
"What would you like to name this new city?" Ruby asked Sky kindly. He stopped for a moment, watching the entire city move in a wave to cheer him on. He smiled, thinking that he made his mom happy by fighting the Wrath that filled his veins. It was all for her.
"Something with both my parent's names... Ali and Lucas... I know, it might sound stupid, but how about Alicas?" Sky asked Ruby. She shrugged, agreeing to the name.
