Introducing: The Americas!

A folk sound played loudly on instruments near the edge of the first street near the dock. Several people from all different backgrounds and ethnicities grouped up, flipping coins toward the performers dressed in fancy robes and obviously fake wigs.

Sky and Dani, holding hands while walking down the street, took notice of the performers and sat around, hearing the music that they played while bouncing back and forth with each other.

The two attracted the attention of all around them. With Sky's appearance so popular after the fight with Quake had made international news, nobody dared to step close to him. Those who appreciated his efforts waved to him, but those who didn't simply ignore him.

"Hey, these guys are pretty good. Too bad we don't have any money," Sky said out loud, sighing off his disappointment to Dani.

"Yeah, it's a shame. They look like they're getting a lot though, so maybe it'll be okay if we just watch," Dani expressed her concerns and the two continued to watch the men perform.

They wandered around past the performing men to witness that the city in the Americas was of great proportions. There were fancy buildings everywhere that Zealous had before it's collapse and was renamed into Alicas. People had lines full of drying clothes connecting each building to one another, giving the already green city a place full of life. Sky and Dani were impressed with the sheer scale of the city as well, even if it didn't seem like a capitol city, it was treated as such.

People were happy, there was no visible crime on the streets, and everything was colorful. Sky didn't see any people working jobs and was surprised at the flow of the entire nation. The hospitality Dani and he received was also just as impressive as anything else.

"A bracelet for the couple?" An older lady asked them. Passing by on a street with painted alleyways with landscape images of a green mountain, Sky and Dani were stopped by a kind old lady. Her skin was wrinkly like a prune, but she sounded full of life. Sky expressed to her that he didn't have any money, yet she didn't care. She constructed a bracelet for the two and sent them off with the best wishes she could muster from her frail body and mouth. Dani felt sweetened because of her and clung to Sky's arm as the two continued.

As Sky and Dani had their own journey, Faith hopped off the boat beside Mizu with her head still covered, watching the curious, red-headed child move of her own volition. She decided to stick next to Khalil as he tied up the boat. She expressed interest in it.

"So, what brought you to the Americas?" Ra asked Faith. He was unaware of who it was, and she didn't reply to him at all. Instead, Faith looked at him, nodded, and walked off.

She didn't care enough about Ra to give him a straight-forward answer but professed her gratitude to Khalil for allowing her to join his journey. After walking away, Faith began to scan the scenery to see if she was in danger, before climbing up the side of a building by using overhanging balconies and indents from windows to fuel her journey.

She watched over the city, watching people move and others get to where they needed to go. It felt like a Utopia, even if she knew it wasn't. There had to be something going on that she didn't see. Faith had become very distant and hard to trust others in the short time she spent away from her father. He had taken down Finlis Vega with almost no effort at all, which surprised her greatly. His development exceeded her own, which meant that Faith had to step it up. Faith came to the Americas to get to Eurasia more easily but also considered one thing that she missed.

If Finlis caught onto her plan, he would attack once more. The only reason he was not attacking right now, in her mind, was because Sky was close to her. Sky Asterio was the one Finlis was afraid of, and Faith acknowledged that. She began to consider sticking close to him in order to keep herself safe.

Faith watched as several people around The Americas walked from store to store, buying some things to move to other stores and buy other things with their items. A rare trading system called bartering had been taking place, and it amazed Faith that it was still in filtration of the normal economic system of The Americas.

It had been a place she didn't understand fully, and now with bartering thrown into the mix, she noticed that it was even more mysterious. Even still, Faith jumped down from the roofs into the streets in an alleyway to not attract any attention. She kept her cloak up and tapped the shoulder to a passerby.

"Excuse me, where did you get that?" Faith asked him. She pointed to the doll in his hand, and he pointed to the farthest shop on the same road she jumped down into. With dirt paths carving out a perfect stride for Faith, she followed it, ending up in front of a stand to talk with the man.

"Do you have anything I can have for free?" Faith asked him. The kind man with a large grey mustache looked through boxes upon boxes for something he could give away for free. After throwing what looked like glass and ceramic pots around for a minute or two, he finally pulled up a strange straw doll in his hands, handing it to Faith.

"What is this? Does it have a history?" Faith asked the man, but he only remained silent, smiling as Faith awkwardly walked away.

Holding the doll in her hand, she walked to the next stand over, which seemed to be selling fruit of all kinds.

"Excuse me, what will this doll get me from here?" Faith asked the owner of the stand.
