---Dani's Perspective---
Peeking over the mountain closest to Charlie and the person I knew to be Lucius Pinewell, I honed in my senses to see Khalil and Mizu walking together with stern expressions. They weren't worried, but they did seem motivated to do something. As they walked along the cliff face, Khalil stopped Mizu in her tracks with a hand on her shoulder. Using Strands, I was able to mimic the vibrations in the air around them and listen to their conversation.
"We're far enough away. You're telling me if I get you to your mom, you'll make this all go away, out of my city?" Khalil asked her. Mizu nodded her head with her red hair swaying in the wind. I decided that what I was doing wasn't an effective enough solution to listen in, and got even closer.
"How do you have the power to do that? I mean, big things seem to be going on. I just want my people safe, so I'll listen," Khalil replied to her simple nod. I completely understood where he was coming from. I had a desire to leave The Americas now as well due to what happened. There would be no summit meeting with all the leaders, as I've come to realize.
However, something bothered me about that meeting...
I couldn't place what was wrong with it at all, but I knew that we were in constant danger so long as Cynthia and Fico still roamed the Earth in search of ways to take out Sky. I suppose the 9 months of peace were nice enough, but I wondered how much longer it would've been without them on Earth. They allowed Sky to get stronger when all it would've taken from Cynthia and Fico was to attack at night. There were goals beyond my understanding, just as there were now. I questioned what Khalil wanted to talk about at the summit.
"I'm the Heiress to the Throne. There's little I can't do. Plus, I know a secret that will stop Mom in her tracks and she'll be forced to listen to me," Mizu admitted.
A secret? I was already dying to know...
Khalil and Mizu entered an open clearing in the middle of oak trees. They waved in accordance with the wind around them, and from behind them, on the same cliff they were on before, Ultima jumped down and entered the clearing as well. Only after a quick moment, I hid on the cliff as well to listen in on their conversation.
"Mom, it's nice to see you again," Mizu said. She didn't sound excited at all, which had me a little confused about their relationship. Either way, I disregarded the suspicion and listened in.
"I'm glad to see you're okay. Mizu, there's somebody I want you to meet," Ultima declared. She pointed behind Mizu and Khalil and for the last time, another person entered the opening as well. She had even longer red hair than Ultima did, wrapping around her body and causing her to walk slowly.
"This is Novi Eternia. She is my mother," Ultima explained.
I was astonished to see how young she looked. I knew Ultima had to be older because of Mizu, but I didn't know the age discrepancy between the family.
"Hi, Novi. Mom, Khalil, and I were talking and we want you and everybody else to exit The Americas immediately. I have information to tell you that could maybe convince you," Mizu confidently said. She stood with the same confidence her Mom did, but even I could tell that it was weakly put up in an effort to fulfill Khalil's request.
"I don't know if you know this or not, Khalil, but the world and its locations do not belong to you. You don't have enough power to claim land over me," Ultima shot back at Khalil, then decided to listen to her daughter.
"The Americas isn't the place to do this. People live here, and we're interfering in their everyday lives. Antarctica is still a wasteland after the conflict with Quake and you. Why not hold all of this there instead? What's so important about The Americas that you moved everything and waited for Sky to enter with his friends?" Mizu asked her.
"Simply because we split Sky away from his friends so it's easier to get what we want with leverage. Sky isn't going to be trapped in their infinitely, but we need at least one White Stone to bring Eirikr back. As soon as he decides to give it up, we'll be able to let him out and let Eirikr handle the rest," Ultima explained.
As soon as she started talking about the White Stone, I began to dread the absolute worst possible outcome. It was ripped from Faith, which meant that Arthur had already been following through with her plan. They were allied as well. It was Sky versus everybody left at this point... I was beginning to tremble.
"You need the White Stone? How is that going to bring somebody back? And why does it have to take place here?" Mizu asked yet again. I was following closely with her questions, listening with wide eyes and open ears.
"The White Stone is a medium for Strand Data. In a White Stone is all of the information needed to create an Arkian. If we create an Arkian with a White Stone, especially from an Asterio, to bring Eirikr back, it'll be like he never left. He'll take Sky over and rule the world and this land will be nothing but dust after a certain point. We'll make it easier for him since he's assuring us of our lives. That involves you too, Khalil," Ultima pointed at Khalil, who was behind Mizu now.
"No selfish amount of information will bring you back, will it?"
"It depends on what it is,"
Ultima and Mizu had one last back-and-forth while Novi stared at Khalil. In a fraction of a second, she tilted her eyes up and sent shivers down my spine as our gazes connected.
How did she see me?!
"Cecelia is alive, Mom,"
