Slippery Slope

I've just finished killing the last Swallower I needed to hunt. As they had said, it was tricky to kill them without breaking their skulls because most of their head was mouth parts. Not only that, I had to kill them mid-flight so that I could slit their throats without cutting up the rest of their bodies.

"I can never really get used to how fast you adapt and learn new tactics. You're an actual combat genius."

"I get that a lot, but I'm not really that amazing. I could even barely hold my own against Brandor back at the tournament."

"Brandor was a Paladin, even if he's still in training, being on par against one is quite a feat. That alone made you qualify as my husband. If you weren't trying to make your own house, I would've asked father to take you in to become a Garaval as well."

While I was hunting, Delcie wanted to help me. But of course, since she wasn't a registered Mercenary, I didn't allow here. So this whole time, she was just watching from the side lines.
