Chapter 20 Only the devil knows

Alexa looked outside the window. The sun had set completely and the sky was turning black.

"Alexa."

She heard a deep voice behind her, she could not resist every time he called her name.

Alexa could feel his hard chest pressing against her back. His scent and the warmth of his embrace made her loose track of her thoughts.

What has this man done to her?

Exander grinned, revealing his perfect white teeth and his canines that seemed longer than before, just like fangs.

His fingers brushed the hair away from her neck and then he pressed his lips onto her skin. Alexa's breath hitched, her brain stopped function.

"I want you, Alexandria." He said and Alexa stiffened. W....what?

His lips moved across her ear and he wrapped his arm around her waist, "I want to make you mine," he buried his face in her blonde locks and inhaled her scent.

He had tasted her and he wanted more.

Exander let go of her, and she turned to him, and again she was fascinated by his beauty.

There was a knock on the door. Exander gritted his teeth, who was that idiot disturbing his precious time with his little pet?

He stepped away from her and opened the door. It was the butler.

"What do you want?" His voice cold and deep, which made the man flinch.

"M...master, uhm..." He trailed, not knowing how to say it.

"Speak," Said Exander, not liking to be left hanging.

The butler wrung his hands together, "Y...your brother is here to see you." He said.

Alexa's eyes went wide in shock. Andras? What was he doing here?

In the living room, Andras was sitting leisurely on the couch when he caught sight of Exander descending from the grand staircase and he came to stand in front of him.

"Exander."

"What do you want, Andras?"

"I came to visit you."

"Is that so?" Came his dull voice as he glared at Andras.

"Of course, we are brothers after all." He smirked.

Andras rose from his seat and walked up to his brother, standing only a few inches away from him.

There was a sudden tension in the air, what was going on? Aren't they brothers?

"Relax, brother. I just came to see Alexa. This belongs to her." He said as he took out an emerald amulet from his pocket

Exander's eyes narrowed. Strange, that necklace looks familiar.

Alexa sighed in relief, she thought she lost it. The amulet was special to her, she had it since she was a child. Her mother had told her that the amulet was given to her by her father.

Exander snatched the amulet from him, "Now you can leave."

"Rude." He said, pretending to be sad, "Won't you let me see Alexa?"

"Leave now." Exander said trying to put his self control on a tighter leach. Only the devil knows what will happen if he goes berserk.

"Why do you have a problem with me seeing her?" Now it was Andras turn to glare at his brother, " Listen, Alexa is mine and I can go to her whenever i want."
