As soon as Mona saw that Lisa's focus was on her, she quickly uttered the following phrase.
"Mona, I just don't understand why. "They are not offering us anything particularly noteworthy, and we are receiving compensation for the land," Lisa questioned.
"Mistress Lisa, we are both aware that we do not make enough money to eat on a daily basis in that upscale restaurant. Yes, we are able to cope." Mona remarked.
"But here, on this ship, we'll get crème brûlée every day, in addition to so much more," she then added as she showed how her mouth was watering by gagging.
"You bit of garbage that's ten inches tall! I was caught off guard when you betrayed me in such a manner. Are you attempting to ensnare me with edible delicacies? Lisa was confused as she stomped her foot and asked the inquiry.
"No! You are well aware, mistress, that I will never betray you! I never think anything but the best of you! Mona insisted on it with the utmost seriousness, as if she were acting the part of a boy. "I just don't want you to put in as much effort as you normally would. Imagine having no cost! Absolutely nothing to pay! In addition to that, mistress, our pay has been increased!"
When Mona stated it in such a manner, Lisa realized that perhaps it was not such a terrible thing after all.
After giving it some thought for a brief period of time, she remarked, "The offer isn't so horrible after all now that I think about it."
Lisa cast a glance back over her shoulder in the direction of John. Her attention was particularly drawn to the pendant he wore.
Lisa reasoned to herself that she would have additional opportunities to communicate with the dragon in the future.
Mona gave a resolute affirmative nod. "Yes, Mistress! It meets my requirements. You must know that we can't go overboard with our avarice!
"Please retell me, Mona, how large of a brain you have," I said. Lisa inquired with a sneer on her face.
Mona beamed with pride as she announced, "One hundred centimeters."
Lisa responded with a chuckle and the phrase, "Seems like it."
After saying that, Lisa walked back to the ship and turned around.
When she was standing in front of John, he looked her dead in the eyes and said, "I accept your invitation, John." John's eyes were crimson at the time.
John hasn't stopped questioning whether or not it was the wisest choice to let that woman on board the ship.
Only a few hours ago, he was completely unaffected by even being in the same room as she was.
It was impossible for him not to think back to the first time he heard her play the violin...

When we last left off...
John, who was seated on the ship, had a view of the packed docking area from the window of the vessel.
He looked to the right and saw his employees getting the goods for the trip ready to be loaded.
They all made a significant amount of effort to ensure that their trip would be completed in a timely manner.
It was all done for the purpose of him locating a cure for his legs, and it was all done for goal of him locating a cure for his legs.
When John thought about the cause of his voyage across such a great distance, he couldn't help but fixate on his own legs and stare at them.
It was impossible for anyone to tell just how badly he was harmed because his legs were concealed by a blanket made of dark velvet.
As he struggled to control the wrath that was rising up inside of him, he bit his lower lip and gritted his teeth.
He loathed the pitying look that some of the crew members gave him, especially the way that the eyes of the younger members of the crew crawled up to his legs and back to his dismal position.
He felt like he was a burden to them.
When they made a stop to obtain supplies, John's animosity became more and more obvious at each and every one of those stops.
There were planets that complicated matters and made it difficult to handle things in whatever way they could. It was nothing out of the ordinary, but because he was in such a nasty mood.
He felt much more upset than he normally does when something like this happens.
They were disputing about a lack of supplies, just like he had seen some of his crew members doing this time when he watched as some his crew members arguing with an alien Merchant over a specific supply deficiency.
John was conscious of the fact that they were merely being stubborn and that it was possible that they had been looking for a higher price the whole time.
