In Which She Got Sick

He was not interested in what anyone had to say and would not listen.

The corner of her eye was the only place where she was able to see John as he approached the bed. She did not look at you directly and kept her voice low. It was difficult for her to get caught a second time since John would do anything to make her feel humiliated and ashamed of herself, thus it was impossible for her to be caught.

She murmured something to the tune of "Damn it" when she saw how swiftly John had gone on the bed and gotten under the covers. "So annoying!" she muttered further.

He called out "Lisa" in a casual manner as if it were nothing special.

Lisa couldn't help but wonder if John's laid-back demeanor around her was because he was convinced that she was powerless against him and, as a result, couldn't threaten him in any way.

She couldn't help but wonder this because she couldn't help but wonder if John was convinced that she was powerless against him.

It's possible that he was simply enjoying himself, and that was the reason why he wasn't concerned about anything.

John observed, in a manner that reflected the fact that he was truly enjoying himself, "You are still not done staring."

When Lisa heard that, she stiffened up and mumbled to herself, "Darn." I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I swear, I didn't mean to even gaze in your direction. Really. You only have yourself to blame for this.'

She got to her feet suddenly and inquired, "Well, how can I be of use to you?" with a face that was contorted in discomfort. As she got closer to John, she did not stop her line of inquiries.

He was lying on his stomach, which was his typical sleeping position. I'm not in the best of health right now; therefore, I was wondering if you might play for me tonight.

Lisa responded, "You bet," as she picked up the violin from where it had been sitting on the couch. "You bet."

After she had finished getting ready, she started playing, and the tune she was playing was a sad one.

Oftentimes, she would play it late at night in various bars, right around the time when patrons would begin to leave.

She was taken aback to see several of them wailing inconsolably with their heads bowed and tears streaming down their faces while they were seated at the table. On the chairs, a few of them could be seen curled up.

She was praised by the bartenders for her performance of this tune because it encouraged patrons to stay at the establishment for extended periods of time. She groped for a piece of wood that was tied to her violin while her own heart was being swallowed up by an unending sea. It was the music that wound up becoming her savior.

As the song drew to an end, John sat there with his eyes closed and listened to what had just happened. He was asleep. After she had turned out the lights and made as little noise as possible before leaving, Lisa left the room in complete silence.

She felt like she was transported back in time whenever she listened to that music because it reminded her of a time in her life when she was restricted in the places she could travel.

This specific music was linked to her past, and she related it with some memories that she would prefer not think about at the moment.

She has completely changed back into the person she used to be.

At this moment in time, Lisa is the only member of the band who plays the violin.

After John had gone to sleep, Lisa strolled out of the room and started making her way across the deck. She did this after John had gone to sleep. However, there were times when a room was able to confine her, despite the fact that she has always been a free bird.

Because she found being in John's company to be first intimidating, she refrained from exploring to other parts of the ship.

On the other hand, she reasoned that since he had been pleasant to her the day before, it was now appropriate for her to be less cautious as well.

In spite of this, there is a component of her that is constantly reminding her that she needs to exercise caution with him and that she should not be the impetuous and thoughtless girl that she generally is.

The entire deck was finished in glistening white marble, beginning from the floor and continuing all the way up to the ceiling.

The floor was the lowest point on the deck. The accolade was bestowed upon the vessel as a result of the large, luxurious windows that were located all throughout it and through which passengers were able to catch a view of the expanse of space.
