Arielle is the forgotten princess of the Nieverdell, a country blessed with the warm sun all year round. She was sacrificed by her family to become the prisoner of the Northendell Kingdom because of the sins of her brother, the crown prince.

In the kingdom covered by eternal ice, Arielle met King Ronan D. Blackthorn, a man full of mystery. 

King Ronan was cursed. On a full moon, he would lose his human side and turn into a werewolf. Weirdly enough, ever since Arielle stepped into his life, he could slowly control his animal instincts.

But great power came with its own consequences. Arielle and Ronan were faced with a difficult choice:

Lift his curse or lose Arielle forever.

On the way to Blackthorn Palace, Ronan met Lucas, who was also surprised to see the condition of the king and Princess Arielle.

"Your Majesty? What is going on?" asked Lucas, worried.

"I've been attacked by terrible creatures, so get out of the way. I want to clean myself up," Ronan replied curtly.

"But, Your Majesty... Princess Andrea and Prince Alexis are already preparing to depart."

Hearing the names of her two siblings, Arielle halted her steps. Ronan also stopped.

"My siblings are going home? But - I'm so dirty," said Arielle frantically.

Ronan chuckled when he saw her reaction. The truth was, Ronan felt annoyed that Arielle still wanted to meet her two siblings. The man turned Arielle's body forcibly. "Put yourself first. They're all grown up, there's no need to send them home."
