The Ancient Curse (Cecillia's Point Of Views)

I had regained my consciousness. Even though I couldn't see my surroundings, I could tell that I was already in a different place. It wasn't in my room anymore, but in a much more humid and stuffy place. Something stuck in my mouth. The cloth that was gagging my mouth tasted salty and musty. It made me almost throw up.

Did I get kidnapped? My body shook with fear. Who? Who did this and what did they want? I wanted to go home… This anxiety was really uncomfortable.

Then, I faintly heard the voices of two men who were chatting from a distance. The voice echoed as if they were in an underground tunnel. I sniffed several times to smell the aroma of the place I was currently staying.

This was a basement. This smell of wet soils, musty, and damp, was very similar to when I visited the underground of the cathedral of Northendell Palace. I tried to scream for help several times, but my voice was muffled by the cloth tightly tied between my mouth.
