Arielle nodded in understanding. "Okay, thanks Lucas."

Arielle was grateful that Lucas was with her. Because Aimee didn't go, Lucas would accompany her and help Arielle meet the woman's needs.

Ronan's decision to appoint Lucas to serve Arielle over Aimee was because Lucas was one of the more capable palace butler. The man can do anything and is very useful for long trips.

Besides that, Lucas also has sword skills while Aimee doesn't. So, Lucas is more able to protect Arielle if something happens.
