Sibling Confrontation

Arielle lowered her hand, holding Alexis' hand gently.

"If you sincerely apologize, then I will forgive you. And we can start all over again."

"Arielle… this is too easy… I-I do apologize to you, but don't forgive me so easily like this. I would feel even more guilty."

Arielle smiled faintly. "If you feel guilty, you must promise me not to make the same mistake as in the past. I'm not a difficult person, Brother. I don't want to hold a grudge. Even though we have different mothers, siblings are still siblings."

Alexis fell back on his knees, breaking down as pangs of guilt blasted his heart. He knew his sister was a good girl. However, he didn't deserve her kindness. Alexis silently sobbed when Arielle hugged him. He cried on the girl's shoulder until he was satisfied.
