Suzie must not have heard me, because the woman rolled her eyes at me. "I can see you're having a bad night. I'll be back tomorrow to talk this all over." She reached out to touch me and I intercepted her hand, brushing it aside.
"You won't step foot inside this establishment again, Suzie. You're fired, and if I see you anywhere near, there will be consequences more serious than you can imagine." I hadn't thought of eating my employees before, at least not the female ones. But Suzie was driving me to it. Besides, there would be a certain level of satisfaction in watching the light in her eyes burn out. Especially knowing what she'd done to my Sonja.
"It's really late, I should get going." The mysterious dishwasher announced.
