Ditactor Family

Seeventh café

"Hey Gretta!" call Ayana.

"What?"

"So what's his name?" Ayana continued looking at Gretta with her eyebrows rising and falling seductively, but unfortunately the expression that Gretta showed was on the contrary, shocked.

"Eh...?"

"How come 'eh' anyway. What's his name…, you've been chatting, right?" Ayana grumbled looking at Gretta disappointedly. She thought that Gretta would be on a date, right, this young man was quite handsome.

"I don't know! I didn't ask," Gretta said in a relaxed tone. "Tomorrow, maybe," she continued, shrugging as if unsure.

"Huh! You've wasted the opportunity," Ayana snorted.

"I don't know! I'm going home first, see you tomorrow, Aya!" said Gretta, turning back and leaving the kitchen through the back door. Yes, the back door, because she had already contacted Randie to pick her up.

"Yeah, see you later, be careful!" cried Ayana with a short wave of her hand.

Mansion Grinson

Gretta arrived at her mother's luxurious mansion after walking for fifteen minutes. She got out of the car, walked with a straight face and also the joy that disappeared instantly.

When she arrived at the living room, she was about to climb the stairs connecting the ground floor and the floor where her room was. A voice interrupted her, a familiar voice as well as an absolute tone that was felt to the bone.

"Just got home at this time, Miss Grinson?"

Miss Grinson? Wasn't she part of the flesh and blood of the one who rebuked? But, why doesn't that sentence show a close person at all.

Gretta exhaled first, then turned to face someone who called out to her, someone who looked at her blankly and had absolutely no radiance of affection in her.

"Good evening, Mrs. Grinson. I think going home now or later is the same, no one welcomes," Gretta replied coldly.

She stared at the figure called 'Mrs.' with the same flatness, not at all afraid when her mother stared at her with a hardened, angry face.

The mother?

That's right, in front of her was the figure of the woman who gave birth. However, shouldn't a mother look at her child warmly and lovingly? But, why not and the two of them stared coldly.

"Don't be so impudent, Gretta," her mother hissed dangerously.

"Mrs. Esmeriana still remember my name?" Gretta asked with a sarcastic sarcasm, only now her name was called by the name given to by her father.

Esmeriana Grinson, a mother who spends twenty-four hours working and working, without realizing that what she is doing has left her child feeling abandoned.

In fact, it was abandoned, when the mother felt sick when she saw the child's face that looked very much like her ex-husband.

"Gretta don't cross the line-

"What is this!?" A firm voice from the other end of the entrance managed to stop the arguing between mother and daughter, daughter and granddaughter to be exact.

"Mama."

"Grandma."

Yes, she was the elder of the Grinsons. At her age, she is no longer young, she still has a firm voice and an authority that does not fade at all.

Her gaze is sharp when she crosses the throat with her daughter and granddaughter who are also looking straight at her, not at all afraid.

"Why do your voices disturb the peace like this? It's time for dinner, shouldn't you two be getting ready?" she continued steadily between the two women of different ages in front of her alternately. Both were still silent, before Gretta finally relented by bowing her back in a classy gesture and saying goodbye to her grandmother and mother.

"Then I goes to the room, Grandma," Gretta said after she finished bowing.

"Hum," said the grandmother briefly. After that, Gretta walked up the stairs slowly. She was more afraid of the grandmother, whose threats were never played with. After Gretta left , the grandmother—Karina looked back at Esmeriana with the same flat gaze, then turned around and left the child without a word. The next day

Colombia University

Gretta there was an annoyed grunt when the two girls were disappointed, while the other girl said if today can't be as fast as yesterday's promise.

These two girls are Starla and Elena, while the girl who was grumbling was Gretta. Gretta looked at her two friends with an uncomfortable face.

In fact, she usually always showed an unconcerned face. Maybe because the two of them declared themselves to be friends, which herself didn't know was true or not.

"Isn't it going to happen, Gretta. We've prepared everything and you casually say no," growled Elena, the person who most wanted a party to happen.

"Grandma suddenly wanted me to go to a meeting at the Grinson group. So I couldn't refuse," Gretta explained, hoping they both understood what the reason was. Starla, who saw Elena's annoyed face tried to intervene.

It would be very dangerous if Elena got too angry with this cancellation.

"So when can you be, Gretta?" asked Starla interceding, she glared at Elena when her friend was about to protest.

"Um, the day after tomorrow. Looks like the day after tomorrow is over," Gretta replied confidently. Elena who heard it snorted, cursed the old dictator Grinson's grandmother for making their party plans fail.

"All right, then. Don't cancel again, Gretta," said Starla with a smile that seemed to emphasize. Gretta nodded happily, when it turned out that Starla understood what she was explaining.

She thought Starla would be like angry Elena too, but she didn't and she was happy about it.

"Well, I have to leave right now. Bye, everyone!" said Gretta in a hurry to get up from her seat and leave the classroom, when the driver her grandmother sent was at the gate.

"See you later, Gretta!" Starla said with a smile that slowly faded, replaced by a sneer.

"Your mask is great too, Starla," Elena sneered sarcastically. She's not like Starla who is good at controlling his attitude, sometimes lets go when displaying her hateful expression.

"Thanks for the compliment, Miss Karstone," said Starla calling out her friend's name with a fake smile and a snort could be heard coming from Miss Karstone—Elena.

Grinson Group

Currently Gretta is sitting relaxed in her grandmother's room, after finishing with an internal meeting with her grandmother, and mother is looking at her flatly. It's still four in the afternoon, it seems enough to go to the cafe and help the Seeventh family.

She also sat up, making the grandmother who was discussing with her mother immediately look at her.

"Where are you going, Gretta?" Karina asked, looking at her granddaughter with sharp eyes as if probing.

"I have a need, it's important."

"You'd better go home," said Esmeriana without looking at her.

"I've done what you wanted. Aren't I given the freedom to enjoy my time?" Gretta asked with her fists clenched.

"Gretta how dare-

"Come on, don't make noise," Karina interrupted and looked at Gretta whose face was already red. "Go and enjoy your free day until there really is no more freedom for you," she continued without looking back, then returned to work with Esmeriana Gretta look at two workaholic women in front of her in disbelief, then exhaled repeatedly and left the room as she said.

Meanwhile these two women could only stare at Gretta leaving with unreadable eyes.

"Your daughter looks so much like your useless ex-husband," sneered, Karina to Esmeriana could only be silent. Although Esmeriana's heart did not accept it, she was unable to reply to her mother's words.

Samuel, Esmeriana thought with a sad heart.
