Geana Rental House
Slam!
Gretta closed the door and then quickly walked away from it, seeing that her break was almost over.
Tap!
Now that Gretta was downstairs, she got back on her feet as fast as she could towards the restaurant. On this lonely street she was made to cringe in fear, when she came out of her alley and passed some scary-looking men.
However, because she didn't want to get into trouble, she tried not to glance at the men for a moment and continued to walk with her usual trying steps.
And, after the man passed her, the breath she was holding was blown away as if she felt a sense of relief.
I don't want to deal with men like them, terrible, Gretta thought with a prayer pleading in her heart.
She also spurred her pace and now the restaurant door was visible to her. But, just as she wanted to enter the restaurant from behind, she was made to remember something she had left behind.
Plaque!
"Tsk, how can I forget, I should ask permission to go home first and then return to the boarding house again," grumbled Gretta while patting her forehead lightly.
Meanwhile
Knock! Knock! Knock!
"Huh? Who is that? Is it Gretta? Is there something she missed?" murmured Geana asked with a lot of question marks, then decided to open the door because the knock sounded again.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
"Yeah, just a minute!" said Geana hurriedly walked towards the door.
She took the time to peek at the knocker through the small hole and winced again when she saw a familiar face.
"Who are they? I don't feel familiar at all," she muttered confusedly.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Damn!
Again there was a knock, this time louder with a bang that made her startle and curse in annoyance.
"Bastard! What are you getting shot at," she muttered and unsuspectingly opened the door and glared at the man in front of him.
Creak!
"What? What problem do you have that knocks on the door like someone collecting debt, huh?" Geana snapped without any fear.
"We did collect debts from you, Miss Winston."
Thump!
Geana's eyes widened completely and her heartbeat seemed to stop. She stared in disbelief when someone took out a piece of paper, where she didn't know what the man in front of her meant at all.
Moreover, mentioning the family name she had forgotten for a long time.
"W-what do you mean?" asked Geana with an uneasy feeling.
She didn't even realize she was stuttering, as if the courage she had just evaporated when she heard the man's name being mentioned.
"Your father, Mr. Winston, has borrowed a lot of money for casino gambling and has you as collateral for our master."
"What?!"
Geana covered her lips, her head heavy as if a concrete had suddenly hit her.
Thump! Thump!
Her heart was pounding wildly, suddenly her brain went blank for a moment when again the man explained in more detail how and what the story was like until the debt was delegated to her.
"Mr. Winston gave your ID card as the person in charge, he said you work for a club and will take care of it without fighting back."
"Wh-how much is the debt?"
Geana stuttered as she swallowed hard saliva, waiting with almost drifting spirits when a nominal was called,
"500 million, not including the interest as long as we chase it and until we accept you as a replacement."
What?
Really, her father's debt had just finished paying off. She had also firmly cut off family ties and she did not know that her missing identity was actually with her abominable father.
"Impossible…. I've cut ties with the family-
"We don't care, obviously here is your father's identity and written statement."
Brugh!
Geana fell to her knees in front of the door speechless, covering her face which was streaming with tears from her eyes, the man in front of her who looked at her without pity.
"No! I don't-
Grip!
Geana's words were interrupted by a rough grip on the arm, as she pulled Geana to stand up and walk along.
"Then you can come with us, being a prisoner as long as you don't pay off your father's debt."
"No! Let me go!"
Geana struggled, asking to be released but was completely ignored. Geana was even dragged by force, as she gripped the edge of the door as a barrier to keep her from moving.
The flowing tears were not even seen, as harsh shrieks were heard.
"You better not fight!"
"Don't!"
Thump!
Gretta fell silent hearing the screams of a familiar voice up there. He rushed up the stairs and widened his eyes at the horrific sight in front of him.
"Geana!" called Gretta, staring blankly as a face covered in tears turned to her.
Thump!
"Gretta..."
The man who was holding Geana also turned and glared at her.
"Who are you?"
Gretta averted her gaze and stared in shock at the man who had passed her a moment ago. She didn't know if this man had bad intentions towards Geana, it was only natural that she had felt afraid when she passed.
"I-
"No! She has nothing to do with this! Don't get her involved!" Interrupted Geana with a scream and somehow the strength could escape from her grip, then stood up to shield her body so they wouldn't stare at Gretta with another plan.
Geana knew exactly what the word following they were saying meant. She had already been her father's victim once and she couldn't let the clueless Gretta share her troubles.
"Whatever! We don't care, as long as you come along and we won't include that woman."
"Geana what does this mean-
"Shut up Tta, we don't know each other and you don't-
"The woman's father you call 'Gea' made it ransom for the accumulated debt, in other words she will become a slave-
"Stop it! Shut up your rotten mouths. I'll pay debt-
"500 million in one week, if we could we wouldn't take you away from here."
"What? A week!?" Geana said in disbelief. "You guys are crazy!" she continued angrily.
"That's the agreement and keep the flowers in mind."
There was a sly smile on the lips of the cruel men and Gretta who saw it had extreme hatred, remembering the time the man who hurt her they both shared a grin.
"You guys are crazy-
"She won't be able to drag her!" interrupted one of them, then ordered with a cocked head to the two people who again moved to grab Geana's arm.
Plaque!
"Don't touch him," prevented Gretta, suddenly she was in front of Gaeana's body and made her a protector. "Don't put your dirty hands on her body even if it's just a finger or you will regret it after this," she continued threateningly.
Ha-ha-ha….
The booming laughter that sounded happy didn't scare Gretta. She tried to stay on her feet and glared at the man in front of her.
No, she must not lose to her fears, they are cruel and will be even more cruel if she is afraid.
"Pretending to be strong? Then you're the one who pays-
"No-
"I'll pay for it, come in one more week and don't bother us after I throw the money in your face. Do you understand?"
Thump!
Ha-ha-ha…
