CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT

I got changed into a tracksuit and kept my hands in my pocket following jimmy like a robot, not saying a word. I walked pass Brian who stood at the door holding its knob, his eyes trailed around my body that I got ruffled by his act. With the way he looked, it gave me a notion that he wished to say something but was compelled to lie low. I clasped jimmy's arm and inhaled deeply because I was unrest about the current situation of things. While we walk out of the place, I could see progressively receding walls, antennas, and eyes, contribute to a robotic structure. In a cabinet made of glass, I saw a child floating, quickly I let go of jimmy and ran towards where he stood floating in a liquid. I tried to touch the walls of this cabin, but I got barred by an invisible sheet that demarcated us. The child was asleep and not saying a word, jimmy held my arm and gently pulled me aside.
