CHAPTER THIRTY

Her smiles stirred up some strange emotions in him that he didn't blink an eye while gazing at the woman before him. This woman in spite of being bossy always showed her soft part now he sees why everyone loved her in the neighborhood.

"I'm off Brian to reflect over what I said, but that doesn't mean we're friends!". Her words drew him back to reality as she had stood up to leave.

"Julie…" He paused not knowing what to say to her, but she chipped in and said, "You want to say the word thank you, but it's okay stealing it from your lips might cause an earthquake". Brian scoffed at the beautiful lady with long dark hair, slender body that doesn't fit the consumption meals she had every day. She had made him laugh without his intentions to do so. He bides her goodbye because she was doing so and suddenly dropped his waving hands having realized what he was doing.
