The cold water splashed all over my body as I ran through it to meet Brian, who widened his arms.

"Brian! Get back!" I barked, and immediately I got to him, he shoved aside.

"Leave me alone!" He veered at me and kicked against the water.

"You're drunk!" I scolded attempting to hold him, this man pushed me. Seriously! I guess I'm at fault trying to save him, but I just can't help it. If he dies, who would be blamed? Me because I'm the one close to him here.

"Brian…"

"Stop Julie! Go away from me, it's not helping, I'm not worth it! Leave me alone, let me sink in my sorrows". I suddenly laughed at his words as he seemed surprised from his looks. How can I definitely leave him when he caused this tragedy for him?

"What's funny?" He asked in a husky tone as he began to come out of the water.

"Are you okay?" Brian furthered and I shook my head. I wanted to avoid telling him that I knew the truth about my last days on planet earth.
