CHAPTER SIXTY NINE.

"I would try" the driver responded, none of us asked of his name, but he spat it out like though I cared. I drew close to the child and placed my palm on his forehead.

"Can you recall who he is?" I muttered to Brian, who nodded. My eyes met with Kinsley, the driver, who grimaced at me and took his leave. I needed to speak alone with Brian, and I guess he understood that.

"Why? He's just a child, Brian!" I snarled.

"I had no idea why smart made use of him, he isn't even a real human" he defended, and I scoffed.

"What if he was and you guys made him like me…" I paused as my voice was choking, I just couldn't contain my anger. This child was just a victim like me.

"How could you be so cruel to a child?". Brian wasn't answering my questions, which got me more raged, he was looking all confused. Perhaps thinking of a lie that he would use to convince, but not anymore because I won't believe a word he says to me.
