Grabbing two plates from the end of the table I handed one to Andie, keeping the other one for myself. Quickly scanning the meat selection, I realized there's probably a lot of things being served tonight at this wild game feast that Andie has never had before.

I decided to play it safe and skip over the backed dishes and go straight to the large selection of grilled kabob skewers. Can't go wrong there, each skewer is loaded with a mixture of fresh vegetables and little pieces of juicy tenderloin. Delicious little bite size morsels that has been marinated for hours then grilled over an open flame.

Looking over the large selection of grilled skewers ,I couldn't decide on just a couple of them that I wanted Andie to try. But a good idea popped in my head, something I have never done before.

" Babe, there's some of this meat I'm not sure if you have ever had before, but I would like you to try it. I'm going to put all the meat in my plate for us to share and we can use your plate for side dishes." I suggested , and started piling my plate up with skewers. Selecting some of my favorites, like mountain sheep , caribou, moose, deer, elk, and bison.

" That's a good idea, I really hadn't had much wild game. So I don't know what a lot of it taste like. My dad really doesn't have very much time to hunt. Occasionally we have wild turkey, rabbit or deer that Peyton hunted. But mom usually buys most of our meat from the butcher shop in our town." Andie responded, eyeing some of my selections suspiciously with one of her cute little brows raised.

" Your going to love these." I promised,trying hard not to laugh at how skeptical she looked.

After piling my plate up with meat for the two of us, we strolled on over to the long table full of side dishes. I spied Mrs.Colman's wild Alaskan Salmon and dill pasta salad right off the bat, making a beeline straight to it.

" Babe come here" I beckoned Andie over beside me "get a big scope of this, it's delicious. Then fill that plate with anything else that looks good to you."

"What if you don't like what I pick?" She ask.

" Don't worry about that, I like everything. Just get what looks good to you." I replied, wondering if she's a picky eater and that's the reason she's so skinny?

I watched as she mulled over the selection for a moment before filling our plate with basic dishes like roasted potatoes, grilled corn on the cob, a creamy looking coleslaw ,roasted carrots,and some green beans with bacon pieces in them.

" Done?" I ask, when the plate was full.

" Yes, for now." She grinned mischievously.

A bit surprised, I had to ask " Is there something else you want? We can take these two plates to the table and come back."

Andie nodded," Yes, some of those desserts over there."she smiled all sweet and shit fluttering those damn long eyelashes at me again.

Making me wonder what the fuck she was up to. Well, what ever it is, I'm not falling for it this time." Sure babe, let's eat our dinner first then we can get some desserts." I murmured, grabbed a couple of rolls and headed towards our table.

" But"

" But what babe?" I ask, halting my steps for a moment to glance down at her. I'm really curious to see where this was going.

" But can't we just come right back and grab one of those lava cakes before they're all gone" she ask, in a real sweet low voice, her big blue eyes pleading with me.

And here we fucking go again with those damn long eyelashes. Oh yeah baby, let me see it, a shy little glance at the ground,now let those big butterfly eyelashes flutter a moment.There we go,now bring those fucking big blue eyes right back up to mine. I got to hand it her, my girl is good at this shit. But she needs to learn,I'm in charge in this relationship and what I say goes, no if ands or buts to it.

I'm beginning to think my girl is spoiled, and used to get her way. Come to think about it,she was hanging on her dad's arm the night I met her. Soon as we made it to the tableI set my plate down, jotting my chin towards the cutlery " Go ahead and start eating babe, I'll get us something to drink." I murmured,made my way back to the goddamn dessert table.

Grabbed a lava cake and snatched two bottles of water from one of the big tubs of ice on the way back to our table.

"Oh, Zack "My girl squealed,when I set the lava cake down in front of her. Making my mind go places it shouldn't,like three and half years into the future,with Andie underneath me screaming my name in ecstasy.

My mouth was suddenly dry and my heart raced, slowly I lifted my gaze to my girls beautiful face." Yes sweetheart"

" Thank you." She beamed, and patted the seat beside her " Come eat before your food gets to cold."

Fuck! I'm done for. Skyler's right, I'm pussy whipped and I haven't even touched it yet. I dashed around the table and plopped my ass down in my chair beside Andie.Andie pushed both plates between us and handed me the rolled napkin with my cutlery inside it.

We both ate leisurely enjoying our meal and our time together while occasional sharing bites of food.To my surprise Andie wasn't a bit picky ,she ate several pieces from each meat skewer that I had picked out. She also ate a little bit of all the different side dishes and her roll. Honestly it made me wonder where she was putting all that food she was eating.

Then it dawned on me, it's her wolf. No wonder Andie eats like a teenage boy, she's feeding the biggest female wolf I've ever seen.

" Sweetheart does it hurt you to shift?" I ask curious to know more about this beautiful phenomenon that is my mate.

Andie shook her head gulping down the huge mouth full of lava cake she was chewing " Not anymore,it used to the first two years that I shifted.But that's only because I shifted to early."

" Your dad let you go through the ritual with your Shaman before you turned twelve?" I almost yelled, thinking my ears must have malfunctioned.Who the fuck would do something like that. Forcing a shift before a child turns twelve years old, could cause irreversible damage to their skeletal system.

" No!" Andie exclamed,shaking her head."I shifted when Peyton went through the ritual.I was just setting between my mom and Abby on the sofa in the living room watching. Dad was standing beside Peyton to help him through his first shift. Then Shaman Andrew lit all the candles and said a prayer," Andie shrugged her tiny shoulders "and that's the last thing I could remember. Until I woke up with my mom and Dad setting next to my bed. My dad said he had use an Alpha command to make Roxy shift back so that he could examine me. Not only that, he had to use it twice on my old stubborn wolf. He said the first time she lowered her head but still refused to shift because I was unconscious."

" Well, not much of anything else except graduate from high school early. Andie responded sheepishly, stuffing the last bite of lava cake in her mouth.

" No, I graduated last year, but dad said he talked to Mr. Howard our school principal. And he agreed to let me come back when school started this year. Dad said I could take my laptop and do my college classes online so that I could still hang out with Jaylee everyday."
