All this for pizza

Lexi didn't know if he planned for her to dress up for dinner or just wear a casual outfit. She was hoping he was talking about just casual clothes , but decided to ask to make sure.

You know what they say better safe then sorry. "Uh ...Alex do you mean for me to dress for dinner or wear something casual?"

"Well sweetheart, you wanted pizza for dinner. I really don't think pizza is a dinner worth dressing up for. However if you want to wear something sexy, I don't care if we have grass for dinner." He teased,opening the door wider for her to go inside the bedroom.He placed another gentle kiss on her hand and took a step back.

"Now go sweetheart , I will be back in a hour ." He murmured finding it difficult to let her out of his sight just for a hour.

Lexi stepped inside her bedroom and headed straight to the giant closet .She fanned through her clothes eliminating all her jeans and dressy clothes before picking out a pair of navy blue sailor pants.Adding a white short sleeve sweater with navy blue trim on the neck and sleeves.

Before she could get into the shower someone knocked on the door. Sauntering on over to the door she swung it open finding two maids standing in the hallway.

She opened the door wider to speak to the two maids. Lexi recognized the two women from earlier. Julie and Beth the two maids that helped her put her things away and set up the voice command.

They both bowed their heads and Julie spoke to her " Princess Alexis we are here to help you get dressed for dinner."

Lexi has had maids help her before back home in her father's castle but usually just on special occasions .For her every day activities she didn't need a maid. Most of the time she only wears jeans and t-shirts pulling her hair up in a ponytail.

She gave Julie a polite smile and shrugged her shoulders kindly inviting her insides " oh, okay, I've already picked this outfit." She informed Julie "I guess we can get started."

Julie and Lexi walked into the bathroom where Beth had already ran some warm bath water. Lexi undressed and stepped into the large bathtub Julie washed and conditioned Lexi's hair asking her questions as she massaged her scalp "Princess do you have a favorite bath soap or would you like to try one of the hand made soaps here in the castle."

" I really don't have a favorite but I like light fragrances, what do you suggest?"

Julie pulled a basket out from underneath a small wooden bench digging through the contents pulling a light green bottle out showing it to Lexi "Princess I think this one will suit you well" Julie said,holding up a bottle of creamy looking bath soap. "Its a delightful fragrance it smells like green tea and lily it's truly a beautiful combination ."

Smelling the bath soap Lexi raved about the delightful aroma "Oh my lord this smells really good. I like this one, but I like to bath myself."

" I understand princess , when you finish bathing l will help you with your hair and clothes." Julie replied quickly stepping out of the bathroom to wait for her in the bedroom.

Lexi bathed in the green tea and lilies bath soap enjoying the light fragrance. After soaking for a few minutes she hesitantly got out of the warm water and adorned a fluffy white bathrobe.

Lexi stepped back into the bedroom to see Julie was waiting beside a small makeup table. Lexi strolled on over and took a seat in the cushioned chair that swiveled around.The table had makeup arranged neatly on top of it. And a large lighted mirror attached to the back that reflected the rooms interior.

Julie began to carefully dry Lexi's hair. After drying her hair Julie pulled it back in a beautiful loosely braided boho ponytail. It looked very attractive with some of Lexi's blonde hair left loose framing her face.

Beth then applied some natural looking makeup on her. She used a peach eye shadow , a little eyeliner, a rose colored blush, and a nude light pink lipstick with a lot of shine to it,making her lips look wet and glossy.

Lexi gaze into the mirror and couldn't believe all this was just to eat pizza with Alex . She had been running around with him all day without any makeup . And not to mention,she looked like the creature from hell this morning in the hotel room.

"Princess are you pleased with the way you look."Julie ask, placing her hands on Lexi's shoulders as she gazed at her reflection through the mirror. "I think you look very beautiful." She added smiling sweetly.

"I really like this hair style," Lexi said, as she turned her head from side to side pushing up on the bottom of the small curls that framed her face. " Thank you Julie."

" It was my pleasure Princess Alexis."Julie replied in her normal cherry voice.

After her hair and makeup was done Beth came back into the room with Lexi's ocean wave jewelry " Princess I think this jewelry will complement your outfit " she said excitedly placing the necklace around Lexi neck without fasting the clasp so that she could see how well the jewelry matched the outfit she was wearing.

Lexi nodded . "Yes that's what I usually wear with this outfit."
Beth put the earrings on her and was going to take the vintage necklace off of her . Lexi remember what her mother told her about the necklace . And Quickly objected" I think I will leave this necklace on and wear it under my sweater , just put the wave necklace on with this one. This one is very special to me it's a gift from my mother."
"Ok, Princess as you wish . I will be right back with your shoes." Beth came back with a pair of dark blue low heel pumps , and helped Lexi put them on.
Oh! Princess you look lovely." Beth gushed clasping her hands together in front of her.
Just as Julie and Beth were about to leave there was a knock on the door. Julie was quick to open it . When she seen Alex standing there she quickly bowed and moved to the side ,opening the door wide.
Alex held his hand out for Lexi to take .
She walked forward and put her hand in his . She suddenly noticed how cold his hand felt , she pulled her hand back and gasped "Alex why is your hand so cold ?"
Alex chuckled
"Come sweetheart , I will explain it to you on the way to the dining room." Alex again using conversation to distract Lexi from his roaming hands."Sweetheart how much do you know about vampires?" Alex ask, as his hand roamed from her hand to her waist as he was guiding her down the grand staircase .
She didn't know anything about vampires except what she had seen in horror movies but she didn't want to admit that to Alex she ponder his question, wondering what she should tell him then she remembered what Alex had told her about being honest with each other, finally deciding to tell him the truth of the matter.
"Well not very much, my father gave me some books for my birthday but I didn't have a chance to read them yet."
. "Ok, let's start off with the simple things , like why my hands are cold . You're a warm blooded creature a human and I'm a cold blooded creature a vampire ."
She listening to him intensely, giving all her attention to him. Alex continued with his walking, talking and roaming hands, that are now on her hip.
" I'm like all cold blooded creatures my body temperature is a lot cooler than yours." Alex stopped turning to face her, he unbuttoned his shirt and placed her hand on his chest. Then he continued explaining.
"You see sweetheart, it's not just my hands it's my whole body. But unlike most cold blooded creatures my body temperature isn't regulated by my environment. Vampires are a little more complex. Like you a warm blooded creature , your body temperature is regulated by a part of your brain called the hypothalamus . A vampires body temperature is regulated by the hypothalamus also . But a vampires works a little different than a humans."
He paused for a moment gazing into her beautiful ocean blue eyes "do you have any questions sweetheart?" He smiled and caressed the top of her warm little hand, really liking how it felt against his cool skin.
"No , I understand everything so far." She replied, with a smile that could light up a room and a twinkle in her beautiful ocean blue eyes.
Making Alex lose his concentration and stammer his words slightly. " Uh..s So in the true sense of the word cold blooded . Vampires are not cold blooded we just have a lower core temperature than humans. And as I said , Vampires are complex creatures."
