Stopping traffic

Slightly pushing him towards the door she rolled her eyes giggling " go to work, I need to pack", he patted her bottom grumbling "I know , I know " he leaned forward giving her a little peck on the forehead "I will come back to get you for lunch, "she pushed him out the door and chuckled "maybe I will have everything packed by then ."

Lexi waved her hand in a forward motion to invited Julie in " yes , my suit case is on the bed and I have all the clothes I'm going to take with me laying beside it. I will keep gathering the things I need and you can pack them."

Julie opens the suitcase finding something inside of it already . She holds the small box up shouting out to Lexi.

"Princess Alexis are you taking this gift with you ?"

Lexi Peered back over her shoulder a little confused about what Julie was talking about. She stepped back over to see what Julie was holding in her hand . It was the mystery gift that she had received on her birthday.

Taking the gift from Julie she smiled." no , someone gave this to me for my birthday, I had forgot about it. "

" Princess Alexis maybe you should open it."

Immediately she ripped the colorful paper off to reveal a small silver metal box. Then she remembered the note on the gift from her birthday party said to open in private.

Quickly she thinks of an excuse not to reveal what is inside the box "Uh, I think this is from my friend Karmen ,she will probably like to see me open it , she will be hear today, I will just wait until she arrives this afternoon ."

"I'm sure it is, I will put it up until Karmen arrives," she took the gift into the big closet and opened the silver metal box , she chuckled grumbling to herself."what's so damm private about this , it's just a key chain stun gun." She takes the tiny stun gun and clipped it to her belt loop.

Digging through her closet she starts picking out different pairs of shoes to take camping .Packing them into a shoe travel bag.

Walking back into the bedroom she placed the bag beside the door that leads out into the hallway. Pointed to the a spot on the floor next to her shoe bag she shouted over towards Julie "When we get everything packed we can put my bags here ,so I want forget anything."

Julie nodded , Lexi stalked off into the bathroom packing a small travel bag with toiletries, adding a few over the counter medications for bee stings, headaches and allergies, after gathering everything she peered down into the bag satisfied with her selection of medications and toiletries closing the small travel bag and placing it beside her shoe bag.

Then she walked over to the bed to offer Julie some assistance in folding the dwindling mountain of clothes .Finally they got all the clothes stuffed into one suitcase and wheeled it over beside the others.

Knowing King Alexander didn't want the Princess wondering around the castle by herself Julie suggested ." Princess Alexis, its still a couple of hours before lunch if there is any place in the castle you would like to go, I will be happy to escort you. We can text His Majesty to inform him."

She thought about for a moment, pulling her phone out of her pocket she hums."let me text Alex and change into my swimsuit, I would like to swim a few laps in the pool down stairs."

"Perfect Princess Alexis, I will wait for you over there." She said ,pointing to the setting area on the other side of the room.

Not wanting to waste any time Lexi walks into the big closet to change into her hot pink bikini deciding not to stroll through the castle with just her bikini on ,her eyes scanned the closet for her white beach cover up .

She found it hanging beside a yellow sundress . She grabbed it and slipped it over her bikini. Sliding her feet into a pair of white thong sandals, and grabbed her phone and text Alex.

Now that Alex said he was coming to the pool ,she grabbed her beach bag and stuffed her clothes into it, so she could change at the pool. Walking back into the bedroom ,she called out to Julie "I'm ready?" She threw her phone into her beach bag, and opened the door gesturing with her hand telling Julie "Lead the way please."

As they walked down the long hallway, she informed Julie of the text Alex had sent back to her " Alex said he would escort me from the pool at lunch ,there is no need for you to wait ."

As they entered the pool area Julie began explaining some of the unique features of the room "If you would like ,this area can be opened to let sunshine in she said

Then she pointing to the ceiling , "this is a retractable ceiling " she then pointed to the wall of glass widows in front of the pool " the windows will also retract down into the basement ,leaving the area open to the west wing garden. This is such a lovely area at night . The garden has a custom water wall next to an out door fireplace with a sitting area right in front of of these windows she pointed

And continue "further out into the garden is a custom fire pit . The lighting at night is exquisite ,it all works by a control panel that is very simple to use. His Majesty has an app on his phone that will control everything here. Would you like me to open this pool area for you this morning?"

"Please do Julie, that would be wonderful , I think my friend Karmen will love this."

Julie walked over to a lighted panel on the wall pushing a few buttons the glass ceiling started retracting and the windows slide down into the floor.

"Oh! This is wonderful, thank you Julie. I believe that is all I will need."

After swimming a few laps in the pool, Lexi crawled out of the water. And laid down on a chaise lounge chair basking in the sun like a big iguana .Closing her eyes she drifted off to sleep .

But suddenly she was yanked out of her chair , Alex held her in his arms,pressing her head into his chest.

He Pulled his hand up into the air as if he was stopping traffic on Main Street.

A loud bang sounded and fire flashed in the sky ,plastic and metal rained down over the garden .

Lexi raised her head up, her heart beat erratically in her chest and her whole body shook. Then She heard Alex's calm voice next to her ear "come with me sweetheart " Holding her close to him they walked into the garden , Alex bent down and picked up some small pieces of a drone .
