Just stay here

Lexi seen that Karmen was wearing a white silk blouse and a navy blue pencil skirt with four inch high heel shoes.

Knowing Karmen isn't really the outdoors type ,she didn't know if Karmen was aware the outfit fit she was wearing wasn't a good choice for camping.

She decided to tell her, before karmen broke her neck in those crazy high heeled shoes "Uh Karmen ,you need to change clothes, you can't wear that skirt and high heels camping. I will pick you out sometime."

Going into the big walk in closet ,where Beth had just hung up Karmen's clothes. She found a pair of jeans and a teal crop top with a long sleeve vintage print cotton button up to wear over it. Searching through the shoes karmen had brought ,she found a pair of white sneakers.

While Lexi searched the closet for clothes Karmen removed the clothes she was wearing folding the neatly beside her and waited for Lexi to return was .

Lexi stepped back into the bedroom, with casual clothes in her hand, She was excited that she found something besides skirts and dress slacks. Which is Karmen's usual style, with a skip in her step, she

approached Karmen ,her smile quickly faded upon seeing two huge fading bruises on each side of her shoulders .

Two lines formed between her eyes ,as she tugged her brows tightly together, walking closer to her best friend she could see the outline of hand prints in the bruised area .

Bringing her hand up to cover her mouth she gasped in horror " did that bastard Brandon do that to you?"

Karmen's head dropped, she closed her eyes to keep her tears from falling down her cheeks. She whimpered "Lexi when I caught Brandon cheating on me, he went crazy . It was like he was a different person.He threw me on the floor, and set on top of me. He held me down demanding that I have sex with him . He kept yelling ,saying the reason he cheated ,was because I wouldn't have sex with him.

He even tried pulling my dress up , he also tried putting his hands on my private area.If one of his patients hadn't came into his office . I think he would have raped me."

Lexi wrapped her arms around her tiny little friend and patted her back, to comfort her whispering next to her ear "Did you report him?"

"Lexi, all I want is for him to leave me alone. I didn't report him because I didn't want to ruin his practice."

Pulling away from her friend ,she huffed

"Karmen, you shouldn't worry about his practice. He damm sure wasn't when he attacked you."

Karmen looked up at her with pleading eyes , begging "please Lexi, I just want to forget it, I think he's already stalking me. I'm afraid he will try to hurt me,if I report it."

"what makes you think he is stalking you?"

"Because everywhere I go he shows up. I went shopping at the mall with mom, and he was there . And I know, what you're going to say ,it could be a coincidence and you could be right .But yesterday, I went to Ethan's mansion out in the country ,because I had left my suitcases out there. And he was down on that old country road that leads off into the forest behind Ethan's mansion ." taking a deep breath,she

continued telling Lexi her thoughts ."Lexi ,I have never told him Ethan has a

mansion in the country. He has only been to Ethan's penthouse in the city."

Trying to wrap her mind around what Karmen just told her, she comes up with a solution to her friends problem."Karmen just stay here until it's time for you to go back to the University. It's to far away from his office to just come here and hang around. And he can't get past the Castle gates, Alex has extra security because of me. You will be totally safe here."

Karmen nibbled on her perfectly manicured finger nail, with a worried look on her beautiful face she ask "Lexi are you sure King Alexander want mind?"

"Karmen this is my home now, Alex has already told me ,my friends and family are always welcome. And I will talk to Alex tonight ,he will make sure Brandon can't get through the castle gates. Now don't worry about anything."

Handing the casual outfit to Karmen she smiled "Here put these clothes on ,because were going to have a blast."

Taking the outfit Lexi had picked out she put it on complaining." Lexi now I'm so much shorter then you ." turning her head to look at her back side she grumbled "And with out my heels my butt looks big."

Lexi Rolled her eyes at her beautiful best friend "your only four inches shorter than me and your butts not big it just sticks out like a bubble. And your waist is so tiny it makes your bubble butt look bubbler."

Both girls laughed and joked with each other until Alex came to escort them to the front of the castle. He had already loaded all the suitcases in the black Jeep that Jackson will be driving.

He took the hot pink suitcase and placed it in side with the rest of the luggage. Pausing for a second he looks up to see Jackson coming down the long driveway.

He glanced over towards the girls he shouted ." sweetheart Jackson is here , I'm going to wait on him ."

Jackson pulled his car up behind the black Jeep and grabbed his backpack throwing it into the passenger seat of the Jeep. Alex tossed him the keys and climbed into the other Jeep with the girls shouting back to Jackson "you ready?"

Jackson nodded, climbing into the driver's seat. They headed out the front gate and drove down a small dirt road going into to forest.

The Princess and the debutant, cranked up the music singing along with the song (it's five o'clock somewhere) Alex couldn't help but laugh thinking about the Princess and the debutant singing a honky tonk beer drinking song .

But he was glad his little Pet was enjoying her self. Every song that came on, the girls sang loudly along with the radio , they even held imaginary microphones .

When they pulled up at the lake Lexi's eyes went wide, turning to Alex she smiled "Did you do this?'

Sweetheart you told me, you enjoyed going to your families cabin on the lake, now we have our own cabin on the lake.

More high pitched squalling took place ,that pierced his ear drums.

Wrapping her arms around his neck , she kissed him frantically all over his face . She Kissed his forehead, cheeks ,nose and his luscious lips. She gushed and babbled excitedly "I love you so much! "

Then with out waiting on Alex she Jumped out of the jeep like a bird dog and sprinted to the front door. She turned the knob trying to get inside ,but it was locked.

Turning back towards Alex she frowned and stomped her foot . Shouting back towards the Jeep "come on , let me look inside."

Alex leisurely got out of the Jeep, and slowly strolled to the front door with Karmen and Jackson right behind him. He

brought his phone out of his pocket and

pushed in a code. The door lock clicked unlocking the door

She shook her head and rolling her eyes, she grumbled " you could have done that in the car."

He smirked "what fun would that have been?"

Determined not to waist any more time she grabbed his hand pulling him inside, " Oh Alex! It's so beautiful "She gushed as she twirled around in a circle with her arms spread out in the beautifully decorated great room.

A beautiful mixture of rustic and elegance with white wood ceilings and dark rustic beams running all the way across the expansive length. The dark hardwood floors and off white further also added to the rustic elegant style of the room. And the stone fireplace and huge wall of windows that overlooking the lake offered warmth and light to the space.

Over the dining table the rustic elegance continued with a Crystal chandeliers suspended in a metal cage.

The kitchen area had white cabinets with marble counter tops and a Long Island with six soft bar chairs stretching across the room separating the kitchen from the dining area.

She turned and smiled "where is our room."

He took her hand leading her up the staircase ,stopping in front of a wood door, he opened it for them to stepped inside .

Her mouth flew open at the sight of the luxurious master bedroom with a wall of glass over looking the lake. The bed faced the lake with a Crystal chandelier over it. And just like the great room every thing was a perfect mixture of rustic and elegant.
