Partying whore hound

Karmen scurried off to the bedroom. Alex picked up his phone pushing a few numbers, Seeing him with his phone in his hand , Lexi ask " who are you calling this early in the morning ?"

"We will be fishing until noon. I will have

chef Rosa cook lunch for us at the Castle. And have the maids bring it with them when they come clean the house while we are fishing."

Pointing out the large windows, towards the fire pit outside she ask "Alex tonight can we roast marshmallows and hot dogs on that fire pit."

"Sweetheart, if that's what you want to do we can."

Her eyes become dreamy, as she talked about roasting marshmallows, she raised her brows a little "can we make s'mores too?"

"I swear sweetheart," he grumbled "Karmen's going to kill me.I guess you want chips and cola too."

"yes please" she answered sweetly

He Caressed her cheek gently confessing." You know I can't deny you, I can give you diamonds and furs ,But all you ask for is cola and chips."

With a big sigh of contentment ,she Picks her hand up ,looking at her engagement ring "I already have all the diamonds I need, and the man of my dreams" leaning over she kissed his cheek "But a girl needs to eat too." She smiled

"Are you sucking up to me darling?"

Leaning on his shoulder ,she Batted her long eyelashes, singing out in a sweet voice."It's not sucking up if it's the truth."

Jackson burst out laughing, announcing

"The all mighty King Alexander Eddington,

Can't even stand up to his wife. Alex your so fuckin whipped."

Alex glared at his brother,as Karmen came back into the room asking. "What's so funny?"

Jackson snickered happy to answer her question. "Your trying to cook healthy food for Lexi and Alex just told her she could have a wiener roast with marshmallows and S'mores."

Putting her hands on her hips shrugging her shoulders she sighed "Well we are at the lake, and it's a special occasion."

Alex shock his head not wanting to hear anymore bullshit from Jackson, he stands up and murmured " let's go the fish are waiting. Jackson, me and Lexi are going over by that big rock where the water is shallow .We are going to do a little fly fishing meet us back here at noon."

Karmen and Jackson packed a cooler full of beers Jackson reached in the freezer pulling out a package of liver, Karmen ask " are we making pate?"

Laughing , he pinched her cheeks, just now noticing the big dimples in them ,he Paused a few moments admiring how cute she looked with her big brown eyes , dimpled cheeks and pouty lips before he answered "No sweet cheeks, catfish like liver."

"Oh! Ok,"she smiled, looking like a wide eyed child on Christmas morning.

Alex and Lexi walked to the garage picking up their fly rods, fishing vest ,and waders and hiked down to the lake . When they arrived at the edge of the water she noticed she didn't have a dip net or any tied flies on her vest . Panicking she stammered "Al..Alex we forgot our nets, and flies. "

" Sweetheart I put them beside your vest last night on the work bench ."

"I'm sorry,"she pouted " I didn't see them. I will just run back and get them "

It was still early morning and the sun was just peeking over the horizon, he didn't want his little Pet stumbling over something. It was better if he left her for a few minutes instead ."No sweetheart, just put your waders on and I will go."

Alex made a dash to the garage, grabbing Lexi's dip net and fishing flies off of the work bench ,he hurried back to her side.

Kicking his sneakers off he slipped into his waders and they both stepped off into the water. It wasn't long until the fish started biting.

Further down the shoreline , two lawn chairs set beside each other,as two red bobbers drifted in the water with the breeze . Jackson cracked open a beer and offered one to Karmen. Taking the beer and tilting it sideways a little bit she chuckled "what the hell , why not? "

He chuckled , "what, You don't drink in the morning?"

Leaning back in the lawn chair she crossed one leg over the other, swinging her foot a little ,with her elbows resting on the chair arms. She relayed a bet of information to him, as if he didn't already know."It may be a surprise to you but most humans don't."

He grinned "Do you find it odd that vampires do?"

"Not at all, I have took biochemistry classes for vampires and humans.I understand the need for the alcohol."

" Your an heiress to a multi billion dollar company, what made you want to become a doctor? That's going to be a lot of hard work."

"Not just a doctor a pediatrician, and it's because I love little babies. And now that Lexi is going to have a little half blood baby. I will be able to help her."

"When you have a baby are you going to stay home or keep working?"

"I really don't know, I don't plan to have a baby anytime soon, so I haven't even thought about it. Maybe stay home and enjoy being a mother. But that probably won't happen for ten or fifteen years from now. I'm really busy with Medical school, and I start my clinical studies next year ."

Looking off into the distance , scanning the tree line for any possible threat he just said the first thing that popped into his head to keep the conversation going.

"Why is it that you and Ethan drink and Lexi doesn't?"

"Lexi took all her classes on line, I have been a college student since I was sixteen and you know how University students are." Turning her head to look at his face she asked curiously ask ."And just how well do you know Ethan?"

He grinned mischievously "I've partied with Ethan a few times. Sometimes Ethan will come to the North on business and sometimes ,I will go south on business. We must just have the same taste in night clubs."

Amused by how effortlessly he confessed to being a partying whore hound she

giggled a little, and her face turned red. She shyly stated "So what your saying, is your a party animal that likes expensive night clubs with loose women."

Grabbing his chest dramatically he moaned as if someone had stabbed him straight in the heart , groaning "oh sweet cheeks ,must you be so curl with your words, I'm truly hurt."

Lexi and Alex are walking over to them as she sounds out "Your full of shit ."

Alex chuckled "smart girl ,Did you catch any fish?"

"No how did you do?"Jackson answered but didn't sound disappointed.

Alex holds up a stinger full of trout happily announcing"we can have trout for dinner tomorrow night. Are you two ready to go back to the house?"

Jackson stands up reeling in their line as karmen was folding the lawn chairs.Jackson grumbles ," I guess you need me to help clean fish, when we get back to the house."
