Cheating Boyfriend

As they strolled around the art gallery hand in hand , stopping occasionally to admire a piece of art work , he would tenderly caress her lower back. They looked like a beautiful newlywed couple leisurely strolling through all the exhibits. Every once in a while he would bring her hand up to his lips kissing her finger tips or stand behind her with his head leaned close to her's as they admired a painting together.

Everyone in the Art Gallery stared and gawked ,whispering about the young couple causing quite a commotion spreading rumors around. Some said Prince Jackson is a shameless man he gallivants around town with loose women, harlots and hussies , trollops and tramps alike . And everyone knows who the lovely young woman is ,she's an heiress from an esteemed family with an impeccable reputation . The child hood friend of his brothers fiancée Princess Alexis Whitley.

They just can't fathom why a young woman like her would have anything to do with Prince Jackson Eddington a womanizing gigolo. However ,just perhaps Prince Jackson has turned over a new leaf and has decided to change his wild and wicked behavior and also choose a bride for himself.

The gallery is now ablaze with mummers and chatter about Prince Jackson and the beautiful debutant on his arm. Prying eyes are glaring in their direction.Watching as Prince Jackson touches the beautiful debutant affectionately ,as if she is his cherished lover . And how the beautiful little debutant smiles so sweetly at him as if he is her Knight in shining armor.

As they started to walk out the door a couple of older women approached them . Even though they curtsy to Jackson, they didn't addressed him as his Royal highness , she could tell they were well aquatinted with him and his family. maybe even related.

Jackson turned her way introducing the two older ladies "babe , this is my Aunt Charlotte and a long time friend of our family Mrs. Joyce Peters."He turned introducing, them to her ,"Aunt Charlotte, Mrs Joyce this is my girlfriend Miss Karmen Boyett."

When he said girlfriend she forgot to breathe and her heart stood still , he leaned forward kissing her cheek, whispering in her ear, " breath babe, your in a room full of vampires."

As she stood wide eyed her mouth flew open and her throat went dry .He leaned closer ,whispering in her ear ."what babe, do you prefer fiancée .

Her knees felt week ,as she clutched onto his arm , every bone in her body told her to turn around and run . But she kept telling herself, he was just teasing her again.

Feeling her body start to slump to the ground he wrapped his arms around her waist helping her stand. Turning to his Aunt Charlotte , he said "Sorry we can't stay, I believe Karmen needs a bite to eat."

Noticing how pale the young girl in his arms looked she patted his arm agreeing with him. " yes, yes, dear. I believe you're right. We will see you at Alexander's wedding."

After leaving the building, he helped her into the car. She was still shocked but found her tongue." Are you teasing me again?"

He really didn't know what the problem was they just talked about this last night .She's the one who wanted him to make his intentions clear. Not being one to beat around the bush, and get straight to the point, wanting everything to be out in the open , he said"Look babe , "I really like you a lot, and I want to keep seeing you." He held her hand rubbing the big diamond ring she was wearing with his thumb , asking her the question he desperately wanted to know the answer to "Babe ,do you not want to be my girlfriend?"

She didn't really think about starting a relationship, they live miles apart.She had just planned to let him show her around town, and have some fun before she had to leave to go back to school .

Sounding a little bit confused she muttered under her breath, but loud enough for him to hear. "That's not the point .Do you just want a girlfriend until I go back to school in Augusta?"

He wanted her to know he wasn't playing any games, And he damm sure didn't plan on her going back to the same med school in Elgin .When they had a great Med School right here in town. He paused a few minutes before he replied." No babe , I want a you to transfer to Evanston, it's a better school anyway .You can stay at my house in the city or with Lexi and Alex , it's up to you."

Nervously biting on her thumb nail, she thought about what he just said, it was true. The Med School in Evanston was top notch , it was the best place in the country to study about half blood children, something she really wanted to specialize in. She had to agree "Your right Evanston is a better school, and I would like to transfer here."

Leaning over he pecked her lips,"Babe, I will help you with anything you need, I know everyone in the administration office at the University."

"ok , I'll do it." She said excitedly.

"Babe, I want you to know I will be staying with Lexi and Alex for a while longer.But after Alex gets some things cleared up. I will be moving back to my house.And I would like you to live with me."

She just realized, she didn't even know what he does for work, and he's already talking about her living with him. She has a ton of questions and she wants answers, no more control freak, cheating ass boyfriend.

She ask,"Can we slow down a little, and not go so fast. Boyfriend is fine for now, not fiancée and I want to let you know, I don't share my boyfriend with anyone else. So you can choose me or all those other women and you can choose now. Because I don't want another cheating ass boyfriend ."

"Babe,listening to me, I can understand why you're having trouble trusting me.And I know it's partly because you have been cheated on .But I also know it's because of my reputation."He admitted , " but Babe let me assure you. I don't plan on cheating on you. And why are you even concerned about those women. I told you half of them I don't even know their name and I don't care to."

" Uh.. well I guess we can see where it goes. But I need to know what you expect from me , and I will tell you what I expect from you ." She surrendered with out any further protest giving him a chance to prove himself.

" Babe we can talk about all of this while we eat I'm starving to death ."he murmured, as he pulled the car in front of a old brick building with a rustic wood sign , pointing to the old thick wooden door telling her about the old historic restaurant , " babe , this is Gabby's Place,it's the oldest family owned tavern in the whole country. It dates back to the 1600's a lot of the building is still original , would you like to eat here. The atmosphere is great and the food's not bad." Twisting his neck to look behind them he nodded towards the end of the street. " my house is only about a block from here."

"I do , it sounds like a really cool place." She said as she looked around the historic neighborhood intrigued by the vintage lamppost and old brick streets.
