Sunshine around the table

Alex and Lexi walked into the dining room to see Jackson and Karen already seated at the table. Jackson had one of the silver goblets in his hand swirling the cold unappealing blood around inside it. He drank too much of Karmen's blood last night ,almost rendering her unconscious. He knows he won't be able to drink her blood for a few days now. But the beef blood in his goblet was really not to his taste anymore. Karmen was sitting beside him peering over at the silver goblet in his hand with a knowing smile on her face . He popped his head up looking her way .

"What?"

" Nothing honey, I hope you are enjoying your well deserved lesson." Was all she said to him , with a beautiful dimpled smile.

Alex and Lexi stepped over to the table , Lexi couldn't hear the conversation between the young couple, but Alex didn't miss a word.

He raised his brows looking over at his brother , his voice coming out loud and clear

" Jackson delicacies are never on the buffet for a reason. There rare and luxurious made to be savored one tiny bite at a time."

He stated this as factual information ,with an amused smile on his face.

Not being able to hear the conversation before hand, between Jackson and Karmen , Lexi spouts , " Yuck, I hope we're not having caviar for breakfast "

Alex chuckled, pulling the chair out for her , he leaned forward and peck her cheek. Reassuring her that caviar wasn't on the breakfast menu.

"No sweetheart, you can have a good healthy breakfast and one item of your choice."

"I'll take a donut . She hurried to say before Karmen could order breakfast for her .

Alex took out his phone and Karmen began to order breakfast for Lexi and herself.

"Alex ,order Lexi scrambled eggs with whole wheat toast, orange juice and skim milk. And I will have the same with black coffee."

Alex typed in the breakfast order into his phone right away , hoping there wasn't going to be a cat fight this morning.

As Alex was typing Jackson began speaking to Alex about their plans for today.

" Alex, do you want to drive my car today? I can drive Karmen's , or do you plan to take a limousine and have a driver?"

" I really haven't thought about it,"

He tapped his long fingers on the table weighing his options, he really didn't want to hear any more cat fights. But on the other hand he didn't want Lexi to be tired after the drive .

"Hum, I think having a driver would be better for the girls." He finely said

"They can stretch out in the seat and take a nap in the limousine and we can all just relax and have a few drinks."

" Yeah, I guess you're right."He picked his phone up off the table telling Alex. "I will text the garage and have the limousine brought around, "

"Make sure the bar is stocked" Alex reminded him. " We will need liquor as well as blood and of course cola for Lexi."

"Alex I just booked us a beach house and the driver a room at the hotel not to far away from the old Castle."

Lexi picked up her phone asking

" what website is that "

"Crimson Beach Rentals "

she typed the name of the website into her phone, scrolling through the properties.

Seeing she looked perplexed he described the house to her.

"It's the gray one with two masters bedrooms and a pool. It sets down the beach a little further from the rest."

Karmen grabbed his phone, checking out the fabulous beach house , the pitchers showed a beautiful ocean view and a pool with a fountain cascading over the side.

Her little brain started clicking, she remembered Crimson beach from her history lesson. She peered up at Alex, her brows knitted together, the horror story of the ancient battle that took place on this beautiful beach was more then anyone could ever imagine. She recited the story about the bloodiest battle in the whole world.

"That beach is the site of an ancient battle, between the The Eddington Monarch to be exact King Henry Wyatt Eddington,"she smiled at Jackson telling him "that's where you got your middle name from." She waved her perfectly manicured little hand in the air continuing her story

"Anyway King Henry lined the beach with his Army stopping the invasion of Tyrone The Great in the bloodiest battle there every was ,turning the Ocean and the beautiful white sand beach red .

That's why it's called Crimson Beach."

Her little history lesson put a big smile on Jackson's face reminding him of the reason the little to skinny debutant caught his attention in the first place. It wasn't her beautiful face or her great ass it was that sexy brain of her's , that's what makes them a perfect match.

However on the other side of the table Lexi gasped in horror.

"You mean were going to a beach that's covered in blood."

" I swear Lexi that was over a thousand years ago. And if you had been paying attention in history class instead of day dreaming about Alex you would know this stuff."

She was causing the sun to shine all around the table this morning ,with out even trying.

Her statement had Alex grinning like a possum, it caused his heart to flutter knowing his beautiful Queen was daydreaming about him when she was just a little teenager."

Jackson chuckled, asking her

"did you really have a crush on Alex?"

"I didn't just have a crush on Alex , I was crazy in love with him. I used to write his name on my notebook in big letters right on the front . I would write Alexis Carolina Whitley Loves Alexander Hayden Eddington" she confessed to everyone at the table.
